Nestled in the pine trees, you will love being steps away from the beach located along the west shore on Otsego Lake which is an all sport lake 5 miles south of Gaylord. This cabin is one of nine on a circle drive. It has 2 bedrooms and they each have a double bed with linens included and built in dressers. Kids are welcomed to sleep in the sleeping bags up in the loft. You will be able to warm up by the fire in the cast iron fireplace or spend your day swimming off the 200 feet of private beach. Enjoy the peace and quiet of the enclosed front porch as it is the perfect place to relax after a day of boating, fishing, water skiing, golfing, shopping or traveling. You are welcome to watch a movie on the TV with a video/DVD collection stocked with over 30 movies with everything from Disney to Sci-Fi and Thrillers to Classics. Grab a paperback from the library of 25 books to read on the beach, or spend a night having fun playing cards or a board game. We have games for the kids and adults. If you feel like taking a little stroll down to the beach at night and making new friends, enjoy sitting around the fire pit bonfire on the beach roasting marshmallows or sipping a glass of wine. If your in the mood to travel, it is only a 1 hour drive to Mackinac Island, Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Dunes. Or 45 minutes to Petosky. There is a dock where off dock mooring is free and an out lot for parking your boat. This is also the perfect little cabin for those who like camping with out having to set everything up. 2nd Bedroom - The Bear/Moose Room has a double bed, built in shelves with linens, closet and alarm clock.

Please sign the Birch Bark Guest Book and find a binder with ALL instructions for appliances and directions to get around. There are a few menus from local restaurants in there as well.
Nightly rates are $125/night with a 2 night minimum
Weekly rates are $600/week
Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. and check-out time is 11:00 a.m.
Rental rates require a 50% non-refundable deposit at time of booking with balance due prior to check in. If you have to cancel, your deposit is good for 365 days based on availability.

Lake Otsego is a perfect true up north vacation for your entire family to enjoy. Corey cove is a small community of log cabins situated next to a sandy beach which is partially closed off from the main lake making it perfectly safe for young children to swim. The cabin was perfect it slept all of us nice and cozy but was small enough it brought all of us together. The town of Gaylord has a spectacular downtown area full of shops and resteraunts. All the Amenities of home yet truely an up north getaway. Hiking through the trails required a vehicle to get to but the scenery was picturesque. Thanks Rene we loved your little cabin.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We love the location of this cabin. One of our favorite day trips is to Mackinac Island. There's nothing like spending the day riding bikes around the island and shopping for fudge. It also isn't a good visit without dinning at the famous Sugar Bowl restaurant located in town just 5 miles away. Or stopping by Big Bucks to get a jug of their homemade root beer, black cherry or vanilla creme soda.
