  The unit was just as described. The space was a bit tight for 4 teenagers but suited our needs just fine. It was nicely decorated and had what we needed in the kitchen. The water quality from the tap was poor so I would recommend bringing a filtering water pitcher or buying water. Even the ice cubes tasted nasty. he first day on the beach we discovered 3 of the 4 boogie boards provided were broken and one of the chairs was dangerously close to buckling and my son pinched his fingers. I notified the owner and the next morning we had 3 new boogie boards and another chair. The DVD player in the living room did not work. We swapped it with the one in the bedroom and were fine....didn't need 2. But again the owner was unaware. There really isn't much of a beach view from this unit but it is quite convenient to the beach. The 2 pools were nicely kept and the kids loved them. It is close enough to walk to the boardwalk (about a mile) but there is no sidewalk for half the way. All in all we were satisfied until we were notified we would not get our deposit back. The way the "damage" was described in no way matched how we left the unit. When I questioned this I was offered no proof. So it is a "he said-she said" thing. Video document pre and post status if you go. Lesson learned!

  Owner response: This is the first time in two seasons that we have taken any deposit from any of our renters. The damage consisted of a stained comforter, stained rugs and nail polish on the sofa; we are not picky people and do not expect the unit to be spotless. The unit normally takes 1 hour to clean; it took over four hours to clean after these renters.

  Condo was nice, bright and colorful, Nicely decorated with a beachy surfer theme that was perfect for a vacation on the coast. The layout was open and spacious, bed and bathrooms were a good size, Our family of five fit in just fine. The beach access was good, walk down 2 flights of stairs, across a small parking lot, through a locked gate to the boardwalk and right to the beach, Nice area to rinse of before coming back to the condo. Beach was great, not crowded on Labor Day, great time! Only Cons were the peek a boo ocean view and the fact that the front door faced the main road. Not really able to sit and enjoy a true ocean view and the road noise from the occasional Harley were the only detractions. The road noise did not affect our sleeping, but we brought sound machines with us. Overall I woudl highly recomend this unit, owners were great to work with and we have a great time!

  My vacation with my teenage son got changed at the last minute...thank goodness or we wouldn't have had to chance to enjoy Carolina Beach and this great condo! Owners were so wonderful to work with and contacted me quickly when I inquired about renting it and even offered suggestions of local places to eat and entertainment. Having extra beach towels and chairs to use was wonderful since I didn't have to pack extra stuff. Also having a washer and dryer meant I didn't have to spend time at a laundry mat and could spend it on the beach instead. This condo is VERY clean, in a great location (close to everything), and a must rent!! EVEN MY TEENAGE SON LIKED IT THERE! Thanks for helping to make my vacation perfect!!!

  The condo was well furnished and equipped for an excellent stay !! We had plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 teens.The ocean was about a 3 minute walk from condo and the boardwalk was also within walking distance.We want to thank the owners for letting us do a partial week during peak season.We highly recommend this condo !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our only regret is that we could not stay longer !!

  The owners of this unit went above and beyond what most people supply when renting out their condos. It was so nice to have use of the cooler, chairs, etc. and not have to worry about packing these things. We also liked the location of the condo. There was easy access to everything (pools, beach, etc.), but yet we had privacy. The condo was clean, bright, and tastefully decorated. I would just say keep doing what you are doing and I am sure all your guests will appreciate your attention to detail. We plan on talking with you about renting your condo next year.

  We were so lucky to have come across this property! We ended up having to be in Wilmington at the last minute and there were no reservations to be had at any of the hotels. And I'm so glad there weren't!! We found this condo to rent and it was just wonderful. Great location, nicely decorated, very comfortable. The owners were so nice and accommidating. We will definitely stay there again next time we want to go to the beach! I feel like we have a "go to" place when we feel like getting away now!

  We stayed in this unit for a weekend getaway for my daughters birthday. The owners were very friendly and booking was simple. When we arrived the owners had placed a Happy Birthday sign and Birthday plates on the table. My little one was so excited. The Condo was clean and comfortable and decorated in a calming beach theme. There was a total of 5 of us and we had plenty of sleeping space and were not over crowded. From the patio there is an ocean view to enjoy. We ate breakfast on the patio both mornings during our stay. The owners recommended we visit the local carnival and Britts donuts while at Carolina Beach. Both were great recommendations in which we visited both! There was lots to do in the area, and a great area to visit for family fun! I would recommend this property highly for couples or families looking for a cost effective, relaxing stay with great owners that will ensure everything goes well! Overall excellent experience!

  You really did a nice job fixing up the condo. It doesn't even look like the same place. Love the beachy feel. We sat on the couch while there and relaxed for a bit. Well done! I checked hotel rates and your rates seem to be a bit low. You can't rent a hotel for less then 110.00 a night and that's just a hotel. You should have no trouble renting it.

  My daughters and I just got back from a stay at Carolina Beach and we were lucky enough to get to be the first to stay at this vrbo property. The condo is just lovely. Very clean and nicely decorated. It was plenty spacious. With 4 women aged 18 - 41 and a 5 month old even the largest space can start to feel tiny but we had plenty of room here. The owners are great. We had a couple of minor issues (I couldn't find the pool key and trouble with the lock) and they were immediately available. The condo was an easy walk to the beach and really close to the boardwalk. We definetly hope to stay here again.

Cancellation policy:

Terms of the Agreement: 1. The Landlord have the right to inspect the premises without prior notice at any time to enforce the terms of this agreement. Should the Tenants violate any of the terms of this agreement, the rental period shall be terminated immediately. The Tenants waive all rights to process if they fail to vacate the premises upon termination of the rental period. The Tenants shall vacate the premises at the expiration time and date of this agreement. 2. The Tenants shall maintain the premises in a good, clean, and ready to rent condition, and use the premises only in a careful and lawful manner. The tenants shall leave the premises in a ready to rent condition at the expiration of the rental agreement, defined by the Landlord as being immediately habitable by the next tenants. Tenants shall pay for maintenance and repairs should the premises be left in a lesser condition. The tenants agree that the Landlord shall deduct costs of said services from the security deposit prior to refund if tenants cause damage to the premises or its furnishings. 3. The Tenants shall dispose of all waste material generated during the rental period in a lawful manner and put the trash in the bins dumpster during their stay for pickup. 4. The Tenants shall pay for any damage done to the premises over and above normal wear and tear. 5. No animals or pets of any kind will be brought onto the premises. 6. The Tenants shall have no more than 9 (nine) persons reside or sleep on the premises. 7. The Tenants shall behave in a civilized manner and shall be good neighbors respecting the rights of the surrounding property owners. The Tenants shall not create noise or disturbances likely to disturb or annoy the surrounding property owners. Creating a disturbance of the above nature shall be grounds for immediate termination of this agreement and Tenants shall then immediately vacate the premises. 8. There shall be no smoking inside the premises. Smoking in the house will result in a loss of security deposit. 9. Landlord shall provide cups, knives, forks, spoons, dishes, and other items as commonly used by the Landlord’s family. Linens can be provided for an additional fee. Toilet paper, paper towels, soap, dish detergent, laundry soap, shampoos, and other consumables are to be purchased by the Tennant. No reimbursement will be made for unused consumables left at the premises. If consumables exist at the premises when the Tenant arrives the Tenant is free to use them... 10. The Tenants and Tenants' Guests shall hereby indemnify and hold harmless the Landlord against any and all claims of personal injury or property damage or loss arising from use of the premises regardless of the nature of the accident, injury or loss. Tenants expressly recognize that any insurance for property damage or loss which the Landlord may maintain on the property does not cover the personal property of Tenants, and that Tenants should purchase their own insurance for Tenants and Guests if such coverage is desired. 11. Rental Deposit amount is fully refundable up to 6 (six) weeks prior to the beginning of the rental period. After six weeks prior to the rental period the Landlord shall have the right to retain the initial Rental Deposit at the Landlord' discretion. 12. There shall be no refunds of rents due to shortened stays or ruined expectations because of weather conditions. 13. There will be a charge of 75.00 if check out time exceeds 10:00am.
