The short 2-block walk to the Eagle Lift where you can purchase ski tickets gets you on runs quickly, and you can ski back to the condo from the First Temptation run. The condo overlooks the 20 kilometer cross country ski trail which doubles as a public golf course in the summer--right out the back door! The condo is on the 15th hole of the golf course which creates a sense of open space around the condo, allowing great views of the mountains and blue skies!
The 1,350 square foot condo feels airy and spacious with vaulted ceilings, floor to ceiling windows, and full bathrooms adjoining each bedroom. The layout is perfect for entertaining friends and family, or for spending a quiet night enjoying a drink in the private hot tub on the deck while viewing mountains and stars across the peaceful open spaces. The condo has been recently remodeled and furnished. With a queen bed in the main floor bedroom, a king bed plus double/twin bunk upstairs, a fold-out queen couch, and a small loft above the master bedroom with twin mattress, the condo easily accommodates up to 10 people on beds. The fully stocked kitchen helps you save money by eating in, and there’s a BBQ grill on the deck. Other amenities include washer and dryer, private hot tub, fireplace, complimentary underground parking, a flat screen TV and DVD player in each room, cable TV, air conditioner (which few Three Kings condos have), wi-fi, deck with shade trees, great views, and privacy. A year round heated pool, large hot tub that holds 20 people, sauna, changing room with showers, washers and driers, outdoor picnic tables and gazebo, and communal great room with large screen TV, game tables, free internet, and fireplace are available in the club house located in the building next door.
The FREE public transit system in Park City is fabulous, and the bus stops every 20 minutes less than a block from the condo to take you shopping, skiing, snowboarding, or out to experience the Park City nightlife. The bus takes you to Park City Mountain Resort in 1 minute, Historic Old Town Main Street in 5 minutes, Deer Valley Ski Resort in 10 minutes, and Canyons Ski Resort in 10-15 minutes. Additionally, you can walk, cycle, skate, or ski the paved off-road city trails throughout the area, with Canyons Ski Resort and Kimball Junction a scenic bike ride away. Over 400 miles of biking trails throughout the mountains can be accessed within 2 blocks, or the Park City Mountain Resort lifts can carry you and your bike to the top for a gorgeous ride down.
The condo is on the Park City Municipal Golf Course, and other world class golf courses are nearby. The Park City Mountain Resort Alpine Slide, Alpine Roller Coaster, Zip Line, miniature golf, ice skating, and shops and restaurants are only 2 blocks from the condo. The Sundance Institute and Silver Star Café are an easy 4 block walk. Sporting good stores and rental shops, Starbucks, liquor and grocery stores, and many other amenities are 2-4 blocks from the condo. Kimball Junction is nearby, with the Red Stone Plaza and Newpark shopping areas, Tanger Factory Outlets, Whole Foods, Kohl’s, Best Buy, Bed Bath and Beyond, World Mart, Walmart, Staples, and many other stores and restaurants. Antique and second hand stores offer wonderful finds provided by the rich and famous!
Park City’s Historic Main Street is an easy walk or short bus ride. Main Street is filled with galleries, restaurants, bars, and shops galore! The Egyptian Theatre on Main Street has comedy shows, concerts, plays, musicals, and many other events several nights per week throughout the year. Park City Mountain Resort, Canyons, Deer Valley, and the Eccles and Kimball Arts Centers regularly host concerts and other events. At the Kimball Arts Festival and Summer Silly Sunday Market on Park City’s Historic Main Street, vendors offer food, arts and crafts, and many other items for sale. Additionally, Snow Basin, Alta, Snow Bird, Brighton, Solitude, Sundance, and Powder Mountain Ski Resorts are short 1-hour drives away! With the “Best Snow on Earth,” Utah’s best ski and year round recreation areas are within easy reach.
Nearby outdoor recreation abounds. Many nearby lakes, streams and rivers offer waterskiing, fishing, kayaking, and other water sports. Owner info
Year Purchased: 2010
About the owner: We live two hours away in Logan, UT, but have grown to love Park City during our many weekends and vacations. In fact, we enjoy our time in Park City so much, we've bought a house in which we hope to retire. Though Val has lived in Utah since birth and Cathy moved to Utah in 1978, we love being close to home yet feeling like we're out of Utah! Because we live close by (and Val is retired), we can make sure your needs are met. Enjoy our home in Park City, and make sure you say 'hello' to Richy Rich and Sasquatch at Lindzee O'Michaels for us!
Why the Owner Chose Other Park City Properties:
We loved this condo the minute we saw it. It's light and airy with large windows overlooking the golf course which serves as a cross country course in the winter. Across the golf course, the Silver Star ski lift climbs the mountain with hawks and golden eagles soaring in blue skies above. The hot tub on the deck allows privacy with great views on starry nights; yet, the club house next door has a year round heated pool and large hut tub when the grand kids want to play or we have more guests. Underground free parking make winter parking and unloading easy. The free bus stops 1 block away and carries you all over the area. Downtown Historic Park City Main Street is only 5 minutes (1 mile) away, though we prefer to walk. Park City Mountain Resort's Alpine Slide, Alpine Roller Coaster, Zip Line, over 400 miles of mountain trails, and other activities keep us entertained in the summer. Year-round concerts at Park City, Canyons, and Deer Valley Resorts bring in local talent and big names! The Egyptian Theater on Main hosts comedians from DC and LA, plays and musicals, concerts, and many other events. Whether you want to sit, relax, and enjoy the mountain scenery, hit the night life, or enjoy a variety of recreation activities, Park City is a wonderful place to be!
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Private hot tub on the deck, wide open views of mountains, ponds, moose, eagles, hawks, and deer, two story windows to enjoy the view, fireplace, layout designed for entertaining, and location, Location, Location!
