This is a very clean, beautifully decorated home. Cleanliness was one of my first requirements. The second thing we were looking for was a place where our family could have a lot of time together (w/ some entertainment) without leaving the home. Our children were excited about the pool. We paid $75 in advance for the option of having the pool heated. We were sadly disappointed to find that the pool was not heated and did not have that option. After some confusion and a few phone calls the $75 was credited back to our credit card. This normally would not have been a big deal, but was a HUGE disappointment for us. The 'jacuzzi' is not even heated and it does not appear that any water is circulating at all in the pool or jacuzzi- just a very small, stagnant, square of water. As I stated - the pool and outdoor kitchen were a BIG choice in deciding to stay in this home. Our youngest child is severely disabled and very medically involved so it is a question as to whether or not she will be able to get out at all. With all the time my other two children may have to spend in the home we wanted something for them to do - the pool and jacuzzi. The most entertainment they've had is throwing a ball in it and walking around it, occasionally stepping in and then running under the outdoor shower to warm up. This keeps them entertained for all of about 5 minutes.After a few phone calls (and a very irate husband) we were refunded a $70 resort fee in addition to the $75 pool heating fee. The company did offer to move us to another unit if available. Under 'normal' circumstances this would probably be great, but as stated above - our situation is not the norm. It takes a substantial amount of time to load and unload our youngest child and all of her medical equipment and the extra stress (for her) of moving in and out again was not worth it. Her health had to take precedence over our entertainment. I'm happy the company was willing to work with us, but I am SAD for my boys and really wish I could have picked a place that was more like what we needed.The house is advertised as a 4 bedroom 4.5 bath home. There is no downstairs bedroom. There is a bathroom with shower downstairs. There are 3 bedroooms upstairs. 2 bedrooms share a bath. The remaining bedroom is completely detached from the home and has it's own bathroom. Ideal if you need privacy but not a great option for children.
