  We had a great time at the Aqua Pearl. The facility and its equipment meet or exceed my expectation. The cleaning lady shows up on the second day to make sure everything is OK. The property is very clean and well maintained. The location is great for the price as it is only five minutes from the beach.There is an ample amount of kitchen utensils, glasswares, silverwares, blender, mixer, even seasoning spices for me to cook. There are 4 flat screen TV with one DVD player along with a small library of DVD available to keep us busy on a rainy day. There is only a minor deficit that make our stay less than perfect: there is no bathing soap, toilet tissue or kleenex provided. I think if the owner chooses not to provide them (which is perfectly alright), he/she should post it clearly on the ad. Nobody wants to be in the embarrassing situation of sitting on the john and screaming for help for tissue!! But overall this is an excellent rental facility. I definitely recommend it to my friends and family and will rent it again the next time I visit St. George Island. Thank you Jackie.

  We had a great week at the Aquapearl! Our pups enjoyed every minute of St. George Island and the beaches and other friendly pups along the way. The house was perfect for a beach vacation in every way. The seafood was abundant at the local restaurants and we even cooked on the outdoor barbecue. The kitchen was great for two or even eight people. We would do it all over again next year! The owners are easily terrific and accommodating. Thanks for a great week at the Aquapearl!

  Had a very enjoyable long weekend....very comfortable. Convenient location...loved the deck and direct view of the ocean.

  I recently spent Thanksgiving with a group at Aqua Pearl and it exceeded our expectations of a sun-filled, relaxing get away. The property is tastefully decorated and full-sized kitchen allowed us to cook the seafood we bought fresh on the island. A short 5 minute walk to the ocean allowed us easy beach access without spending costly water-front prices. The 2 bedrooms are more than large enough to accommodate 4 people with all the extras. We especially enjoyed the large amount of outside access on the property. The addition of the rooftop sun deck was an excellent idea and great place to watch sunsets. The private back deck was used while grilling and there was more than enough outside furniture for all. I used the outside shower the entire week and always migrate to a rental with this luxury. The interior furnishings were very comfortable and flat screen televisions were in every room. We also loved being able to enjoy the beach with our canine friend, Chubs; St George Island is very unique in the way it allows us to bring our dogs onto the beach and rental properties that allow us to have our furry friends are greatly appreciated. We loved this property and if you are looking for an authentic sleepy St. George Island get away, look no more; this is the place. Thank you Jackie. WE WILL BE BACK.

  The Aqua Pearl was the perfect spot for a last minute beach trip for Labor Day weekend. The Owners were very accommodating and quick to respond when we made our reservation. The house is one level and tiled throughout which was nice since we had our sweet Labrador with us! The kitchen is spacious and open to the den. The bedrooms are on their own "wing" so you can close that area off from the rest of the house if need be. The outdoor space is nice. There is an outdoor shower to rinse off in when you return from the beach, but a water hose would have also been nice for ease. There is a sun-deck, but it gets pretty hot up there! We were not able to enjoy it as much as we would have liked! I do believe there is umbrella for the table up there, but it was missing. It would have provided the necessary shade we were looking for! The beach is a short-walk on a fairly busy street. Overall, this is a perfect, dog-friendly bungalow just minutes from the beach.

  We were looking for a vacation home to replace the over crowded beaches of Destin, FL. This was the spot. St. George Island caters to families and adults. Beaches were NOT crowded and the restaurants were great. The Aqua Pearl exceeded our expectations. It was more than room enough for 3 adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs! WE WILL BE BACK!

  Nicely updated property. Had everything we needed. Upper deck was great for having a quiet dinner with a nice view. Great access to bike/walking path and beach. Would definitely recommend this rental. Arrangements went without a hitch. Loved the outdoor shower!

  My husband and I just concluded our stay at The Aqua Pearl for the second time, to celebrate our one year anniversary! It was just as great as we remembered! Just to reiterate: the furnishings are fantastic, the outside shower and roof deck are wonderful, access to the beach and everything on the island is very convenient, and the kitchen was perfect for hosting our family that came to Florida with us this time! The owners are really great too. We can't wait to stay at The Aqua Pearl again in the near future! Thanks for everything!

  The Aqua Pearl could not have been more perfect for our stay! My husband, myself and our 1 year old son headed down to St. George for a last minute getaway. We contacted the owner at 10am on Thursday and were on our way to the beach 2 hours later- they were prompt to respond and were available to answer any of our questions! The house looks exactly as it does in the pictures and is beyond charming. I have only ever stayed on the beach when we have gone to SGI, so I was hesitant about being this far off the beach- thinking that it might not be as much fun- it was a none issue. The rooftop deck offers lovely views and the short walk to the beach was super easy (even with a dog, stroller and all manner of beach gear). The kitchen is stocked with everything you would need to prepare a meal, there are PLENTY of towels, and just about anything else you could want are provided as well. I cannot say enough good things about this property and the owners! I have rented other homes through VRBO and this was far and away the best experience yet. The Aqua Pearl is as described (probably even better) and I would recommend it to anyone!

  A week spent here is not enough! My family and I recently enjoyed a wonderful vacation at the Aqua Pearl on St. George Island, Florida and we didn't want to leave! We had never traveled to Florida's "Forgotten Coast" and really weren't sure what to expect. Wow! Were we in for a treat! St. George Island and it's surrounding area is amazing! The Aqua Pearl is a lovely beach house with every convenience. The home has a great floor plan, is very comfortable and it is even more beautiful than the pictures. The owners have done an excellent job considering the guests needs and were vital in making this a fantastic experience for our family. We especially enjoyed the convenience of the outdoor shower, the easy access to the beach and the washer/dryer. The rental process was a breeze. The owners are very gracious and responded promptly to questions and offered suggestions for things to see and do around the area. The Aqua Pearl is a gem - convenient to everything, but especially the beach. Never too busy or crowded, we love the island's laid back vibe. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed seeing dolphins and other vibrant wildlife every day. I would highly recommend visiting St. George Island and can't wait to go back!
