This is the place to completely relax with out a bunch of noise. Listen to the waves and the birds 24/7 and step out to the beach a few steps away from your hideaway in the Caymans. Leave your distractions behind with only the barest of necessities because this place is fully stocked. When you want to get away from the solitude for a bit then you have lots of options within a few miles depending on what you need or want to do. This is the quiet side of the island but that doesnt mean there is nothing to do. If you really need to stay in touch with civilization then feel free to use the wireless network inside the Condo and use the printer/scanner/fax that is there for your use. The master has a TV set up for DVD's and the Den area has satellite TV.

This property is strategically located a few miles from Rum Point to the East and the South side of the island. The location of the Condo development is a sleepy little area but has restaurant and grocery stores very close by.

This condo is exactly as pictured here. It was easy to find, and we enjoyed the fact that it was away from the tourist part of the island. No matter what our plans were, by car it didn't take long to get there, so we were able to take advantage of many of the activities available on the island. Everyone was friendly no matter where we were. I would highly recommend staying here. It is more expensive to eat in the Caymans whether purchasing groceries or eating out, so you need to prepare yourself for that expense. Stingray Sailing/snorkeling, Botanic Garden/Blue Iguana Preserve, Turtle Farm, and kayaking/snorkeling are all available and easy to find. We would highly recommend staying here.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers.

One of the most relaxing places I have ever stayed! Amazing Condo inside and out! No crowds, no traffic, just the sound of the waves and the parrots flying from tree to tree. There are numerous public beaches nearby and usually you are the only ones there. If your a Scuba Diver, Ocean Frontiers just a few miles down the road offers some of the best diving on the island. Rum Point is a few miles down the road and a very relaxing place to while the day away. If you get to crazing some local cuisine then hop in the car and drive to Over the Edge restaurant, it is 5 minutes away and has some great food at reasonable prices, another restaurant fairly close isTucca's it is very good and the ambience is great there as well. No need to battle the hustle and bustle of Georgetown when everything you need is on the quite side!!! I highly recommend trying out this wonderful condo and seeing what relaxing is really about. Go see what you've been missing!!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers.

I'd give this place 5/5 stars. The condo was very well kept, immaculate and well located. It was far from the crowded touristy part of the island, yet there was plenty to do, and nice places to eat where we stayed. The owners went the extra distance with little things that made all of the difference like putting out a few holiday trimmings knowing our family would be arriving for the Christmas season. This place is amazing and the Condo was in perfect condition. Everything was just as portrayed to us and we could not have enjoyed it more. I liked the peacefulness of the area and how everything we wanted to do was within 10 minutes of the Condo. The weather was great. Thanks again. We plan on coming back and using your place every year.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, girls getaway, people with disabilities.

About the owner: The owners are travelers who love to spend a big part of their vacation in the Carribean.
Why the Owner Chose Old Man:
We chose to buy this property because it is on a beautiful and quiet part of the island that is very well located to things we like to do. Ocean Frontiers is an amazing scuba outfitter and is known world wide for excellent service and equipment. Run up the road a few miles to the famous Rum Point and take a tour to Sting Ray City or do a Kayak Tour of the Mangroves. There is a quiet little Bar/Restuarant there that is fun and not very pricey. The people are nice and the service is great.
Overall, Cayman is a great island and the people are very tourist oriented. We feel very safe on Cayman and this side of the island is particularly friendly. Please see for your self and enjoy a week or two in our property with your friends or family.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Everything you need is there for your comfort. If you have kids break out the water toys in the Master Closet and there is even a small life preserver for a small child hanging in the closet . Lots of towels for your use and a few extra blankets if you get a little chilly at night. The temperature is usually within a range of 10 or 12 degrees during the day so there are no extreme swings in heat. If you get tired of relaxing and feel the need to get some work done then feel free to use the wireless network and make use of the printer/scanner/fax if you need it. At night we like to use the barbeque grill that is located a few steps away from the walkway right behind the pool. Grill some fresh fish that you either catch yourself or you buy from the locals in town dockside. Most of the spices you need to cook with are usually on hand in the Condo.
