Situated just inside the Sian Kaan Biosphere Reserve, along the Mayan Riviera, visiting Milu'um is like stepping into Daniel Defoe's Robinson Crusoe with pristine, deserted beaches, crystal clear blue water and breathtaking sunsets, beat only by the sunrise.
Designed for the least amount of impact on the natural surroundings, the bungalows are made of all natural materials, open, and powered only in the main house by generator. Pathways and bungalows are lit with candles and torches. While more geared for those who are looking for something off the beaten path, the rental cost includes the services of a local housekeeperr, who will provide a breakfast of fresh fruits as well as snacks. And can prepare whatever additional foods you request/bring.
Additional Information: ?- Very knowledgeable Mayan butler/driver/guide ?- A power generator is available and is turned on at night fall and off when guests go to sleep ?- Although there is no such thing as a private beach in Mexico, this is as close as it gets ?- Bedding and towels are provided and changed as needed ?- Each bungalow has one full size bed, singles are available upon request ?- Mosquito nets are provided ?- Total property is 6 acres ?- Minimum stay of 3 nights
With a total of 3 Bungalows (Main House, Beach Bungalow and Back Bungalow), a kitchen/dining hut and very nice lounge, the property can accommodate up to 8 people. The main house, contains the only bathroom and shower.
Surrounding Area ?There are literally hundreds of beautiful cenotes surrounding Milu'um, along with many archaelogical sites. Day trips to fresh water lagoons, mayan floating canals, superb fly fishing, diving, laying on the beach and jungle walks are just some things to do.
Appart from everything and at the same time just down the steet from very chic restaurants and shops.
