  We had 11 adults (5 young adults),and were extremely comfortable in this beautiful home. Katie has thought of everything from the Kitchen Aid appliances and cookware to a rolling cart for chairs at the beach. The pool house was perfect for the young male adults who could stay up late around the pool and have their own space. The Pottery Barn décor is well coordinated and beautiful. We have been going to Destin for over 25 yrs. and have rented many places via VRBO. This was exceptional and our favorite by far. We loved riding the bikes, drinking coffee in the spacious kitchen and sitting areas, grilling out by the pool, dining at the beautiful wooden table that accommodates 10, and not being cramped. The landscaping is gorgeous. Katie takes meticulous care of the home as if she lived in it. We also liked the beautiful brick front porch and gliders. Great location. Can't wait to return next summer.

  We had four families (8 adults, 3 teens and 4 kids) stay in this house very comfortably! There is everything you need and more than you could think of. The pool is great, the walk to the beach is only a few minutes away. We would stay here again!

  Our family has spent many, many Spring Breaks/Summer Vacations in Destin over the years and enjoyed some wonderful homes. However, Sand Dollar proved to be the very best mix of comfort, cozy, exceptionally functional and an easy walk to the beach. From the time we arrived until the moment we left it absolutely felt like "our home". Katie does such a magnificent job making everyone feel special and all our needs taken care of. Had to laugh last night as all the kids tweets mentioned loved vacation and Sand Dollar!!! Look forward to spending more great family moments at this lovely home. Thanks Katie!!!

  Our family is coming off another great Thanksgiving week at the Sand Dollar. This is our second trip and we plan to return in 2013. The accommodations, location, and cleanliness were all beyond our expectations. Most importantly we credit our hostess, Katie Atwater, for making our visit most enjoyable. We positively concur with the "Review Tips and Guidelines".

  My family along with several friends and their children have stayed at the Sand Dollar previously and will be back again! Katie is excellent to work with and the house is in excellent condition. Pictures do not do this house justice. We had three families and the layout of the house and the living area's are perfect.She has everything you could possibly need and all the extra's that you usually pack when vacationing are on hand as well! We can't wait until next year to return to our favorite spot!

  Our family cooks all our meals instead of going out, this is the first house that we have stayed at that had everything we needed for cooking, eating and cleaning up. There is a playground just around the corner and we visited that several times. We had a small problem and Katie took care of it right away. Katie is wonderful to rent from and we would recommend this beautiful house to anyone.

  This house is definitely not done justice by the pictures. We were amazed at how spacious and nice it was. It is very conveniently located in Destin so there is a lot to do close by. Katie was very nice and accommodating with anything we needed. This house was very well equipped with kitchen tools and pool/beach tools. We had a large group (14) for a girls weekend and it fit everyone very comfortably. We would definitely like to stay here again. Thanks again, Katie!

  This was my family's second trip back to Sand Dollar- we loved it just as much as the first time! Katie is such a kind and gracious homeowner. Her home is second to none! Every room is gorgeous, spacious and comfortable. The pictures, although beautiful, do not even do it justice. You have to see how perfect it truly is. It is an adjustment coming home! I only wish I could walk out to my private pool everyday! The area is perfect... a short walk to the beach. Every store imaginable is within a minute drive from the home, and the beach is pristine. Katie has thought of EVERYTHING! It is a home away from home. Her personal details continued to amaze my family this trip. She provides stunning living areas, filled with all the personal touches you can only get at the Sand Dollar. The homeowner truly cares about the home, the renters and their vacation experience. There are not enough ways to describe how wonderful this home is. Our family has decided to make this an annual trip. Sand Dollar and Katie are one of a kind! The moment you pull up to the gorgeous driveway and see the welcoming front porch you know it will be a great week! She makes it so easy to just arrive and feel right at home. Best of the best! Thank you Katie for another wonderful experience! You are such a pleasure to work with. Your commitment to providing excellent customer service makes the Sand Dollar the best home in Destin.... that and the absolutely perfect lay-out and decor! Wishing I was there right now!   This house was beautiful and spacious, meeting the needs of our entire family. Everything you needed to enjoy the beach was provided by the owner and she was extremely helpful in helping us meet the needs of an infant. The beach is beautiful. Having your own private pool was also a plus. I would recommend this property to anyone.

  We had a great relaxing stay at this house. The house is awesome! The bedrooms are very large. The bathrooms are very nice. The living areas were great. The house was very clean and well maintained. The house is very well stocked and supplied. Everything is labeled. You know just where to find everything. Katie is great! She makes her self very accessable for anything that you need or for any questions. Instructions are very detailed. You have everything you need to know at your fingertips. We hope to stay at this house again. Our teenagers loved the carriage house. They could stay up as late as they wanted and not bother everyone else.
