The house was at an excellent location. Just about a mile to the beach, really close to the La Jolla shores park. I recommend walking to Caroline's Seaside Cafe - good food, great view. The house itself was nicely decorated, spacious and had a nice yard, all these amenities made it easy for us to keep our very active toddler engaged. Overall it was a very relaxing holiday and the location and decor of the house had a lot do with making it so. There was only one weird problem, when we wanted to stay in - none of the pizza places seemed to be willing to deliver to this location.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

The house was everything and more than we expected, it was beautiful with a great location, 500 yards from the beach and 25 minutes walk from Prospect Place, which is packed with shops and restuarants, and has a great sea side walk. The house and bedrooms are spacious and well equipped, the gardens attract lots of sunshine and we had some great nights sitting around the fire pit and BBQ. The number 30 bus stops 20 yards from the front door which will take you everywhere locally during the day. The local shops hire bikes and Kayaks at reasonable rates if you have children.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We really enjoyed our time here. The home was clean, beautiful and there was tonnes of space. We were three families (two sets of four, with two kids each along with two grandparents) and didn't feel crowded or penned in in any way. Conveniences were all working and maintained well. The driveway can be a little hard to find, but if that's the worst you can say about a place, it's a good thing! Close to cafe and restaurant strip, and a short twenty minute walk to La Jolla main street. A drive into the city.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

Spacious, clean and well equipped home, an easy walk (even with a stroller and a 3 year old!) from the beautiful beach, playground and local restaurants, and a short, easy drive from Seaworld, the Zoo and Downtown San Diego. We especially liked the comfortable and living area and garden, which is kid-friendly and feels like an extension of the house. The property manager was professional and responsive.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Lovely property easily big enough for 8-10 people. Close to everything in La Jolla. The house was clean and ready for us when we moved in. The owner's agent was very helpful. We would definitely go back again.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Our entire family enjoyed the home. It was close to the beach and close to our other activities. It provided us with clean space and had all the amenities we could ask for. We enjoyed visiting on the patio in the evenings after a fun day of play around San Diego. I would recommend this property to anyone.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Our familly had a wonderful time. It was especielly nice to be so close to the beach and downtown La Jolla. House was well equiped and very comfortable. With a week at the beach with four young children, you want some room to breathe at the end of the day. What we appreciated the most about this house was the large "great room" and dining room. Dinners were fun and relaxed around the big table. Then, family movie night was a comfortable experience on the big sectional and large flat screen with surround sound. Another plus for parents is that the kids can sleep downstairs and you can stretch out in your own "getaway" in the upstairs master suite. Negatives for us was the garage was too crowded/small for our SUV to park inside. But property manager Brant & his wife are professional and attentive to anything you need...relax and enjoy!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Visited La Jolla for a family vacation. Wonderful location near local beach and within easy driving distance of every activity. The home was spacious and nicely appointed. We arrived and found the home clean and very comfortable. My wife is particular about cleanliness and we had no issues here. The outside fire pit area was great and the kitchen was fully supplied with decent pots and pans that made cooking like being at home. We found the upstairs master to be relaxing, luxurious and a nice are to retreat to while the kids slept in nice rooms downstairs. It was a great spot to stay filling long days at the local amusement and zoo attractions. The only minor comment is that we had minor maintenance issues. That said, when they were mentioned they were immediately handled. Highly recommended!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This home blew away our expectations! The home is perfect for a family getaway. With just a short walk to the beach and shopping you always have something to do. Just feel like staying in ? You can sit and relax in the backyard have a bbq and light up the fire pit at night. This is a perfect home! My family and I are already look to plan our next stay.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

We had a great stay! The house was a couple blocks from the beach and village. We were able to walk everywhere- very convenient. Everything was clean and fresh. Our large family had a memorable stay with every possible amenity. The four "ensuite" bedrooms had updated decor, and the 5 T.V.'s, books and games kept everyone happy. Everyone's favorite was the room with the ocean mural and sunken tub! High points of our stay: "Al fresco" dining in San Diego's perfect weather on the secluded patio, evenings around the fire pit, walks along the beach a few minutes from the house, family dinners prepared in the well equipped kitchen, and especially, time to reconnect and build new memories. We especially loved George's Terrace for dinner with a fabulous ocean view! Everyone enjoyed fun at the nearby beach (boogie boards and sand toys were provided), but we also loved the SD Zoo, Sea World and golf at Torrey Pines. Info about attractions was provided. The home was so welcoming and comfortable that we felt as if we were guests at a spa. We are booking a longer stay next year!!!Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Tres Belle! This house was the perfect vacation setting for our familly. Beach is a minutes walk and the owner has provided all the essentials to enjoy La Jolla Shores. The rooms are spacious and the sleeping arrangements very comfortable. Shopping and dinning was within short walking distance, but we preferred to use the well equiped kitchen and dinning room for most of our meals. We reccomend Brockton Villa for breakfast when you feel like having someone else do the cooking, and it's a short walk towards La Jolla Village. Our familly thoroughly enjoyed the stay and will be making this an annual trip!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.
