The property was definitely more then I expected. It was very clean, well lite, easy parking, great layout, comfortable furniture (indoors and out), soft sheets, fluffy towels, and close to everything. We had such a wonderful stay. I certainly did not want to leave. When we return to Fort Lauderdale we will be returning to this property if available. We traveled with my 11-month-old daughter. We all loved the pool and I was very comfortable allowing her to crawl around the house. Booking the house with Audrey was very easy and quick through Home Away and Mark the property manager was very friendly, and helpful. It is always a worry when staying in a short let accommodation. But i can say that Audrey's home was a delight, just the other day my friend who came with me said "It was a little fairy tale cottage " Beautifully clean a stunning two bedroom home, with everything you can imagine on hand for you. Hugs television and stylish furniture we nearly ended up staying in most evenings. Audrey herself was keen for us to have a great stay, and went out of her way to make our trip rememberable whist giving us total privacy, but she was only a call away if we needed to ask a question. He charming neighbour Marc was also on hand if we had any problems. You do share the pool and laundry utilities with him. But he was hardly there and when he was he made us most welcome. The Garden and pool are stylish and so wonderful just to chill and enjoy. The pool is not heated, but it had started to warm up as we left so Summer months would be just perfect. There is two car parking spaces and the neighbour hood is friendly and a short drive to everything. Really a treat if you needed accommodation is Fort Lauderdale .Did you find this review helpful? We can't thank Audrey and Mark enough for a wonderful stay at their property. The home was spotless, comfortable and within great proximity to everything. We enjoyed our coffee poolside every morning and found the neighborhood to be peaceful and quiet. My husband and I were long overdue for some time away and found this property to be the perfect place to relax. We loved the memory foam mattress and we slept great every night! Although we spent alot of time at the beach which is, literally, just a few minutes away - we loved the saltwater pool. Our family of four (two kids ages 7 and 6) stayed at this beautiful house during our spring break week in April. The house was so much more than what we had anticipated; the layout is beautiful and the owner did such an excellent job with renovating everything to look so charming, spacious and clean. The full kitchen was nicely equipped with modern amenities and the bathroom very functional and large. The pool was to die for... HUGE!!! My kids spent hours swimming in it every day. The location can't be beat, about 2 miles from the beach and with many restaurant and supermarkets nearby. Audrey made the whole process very easy and enjoyable. I bought this home because of it's proximity to EVERYTHING and it's Key West feel. I love having the French doors to the pool open. Nothing like Florida breezes and natural light! It's also super quiet and the neighbors are friendly and nice.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
I always feel like I'm on a vacation here but very much at home at the same time. I'm an organic, vegetarian and there's lots of great food choices right down the street. Not to mention minutes from the movies, a gorgeous city park and fabulous gyms. I love the people in the area. Everyone says hello! This is not always a common quality in bigger cities.
