  We loved our stay at the condo. It was very clean and the pictures posted were exactly like we found it. Robin and her team go beyond to make sure everything you need is there and available. We would definitely recommend it and hope we can use it again sometime in the future. We enjoy the Seagrove area and try to stay there each trip we are able to take. Very close to Destin and Panama City for any shopping and fun trips with the children.

  Awesome view! The owners left us a nice little care package of items for the beach. The unit was clean, well decorated and had everything we needed, including beach chairs and an umbrella, which saved us some packing room.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

  After reading an earlier review of this amazing condo I have come to the conclusion that it probably was impossible to please those tenants. Please read on to hear how great my family's experience was. My family and I wanted for our vacation; a condo that was right on the beach; in Seagrove; had a lovely pool; wanted a fun space to hang out in; was clean; and in was in great working order. Well, we got much more than that! Every appliance (and some) you would have in your regular home was included, every kind of kitchenware you could imagine was available. The beds were comfortable. The condo was clean and was extremely easy to hang out in as the recent renovations provided a great environment. There was even beach towels, beach chairs and an umbrella to use! The tv in the living room was humungous. There was tv's in both bedrooms too. The washer and dryer worked perfectly. The bathrooms updated beautifully. LOVED LOVED LOVED the shower in the master en-suite. What more could you want? How about an amazing owner and fabulous manager that personalized our stay above and beyond anyone's expectations?! Desiree and Robin are nothing short of darlings. Accommodating? Check. Personable? Check. Would go out of their way to be helpful? Double check. So there you have it. The truth. Would we stay in 1105 Beachcrest again? ABSOLUTELY!!!!! 1105 Beachcrest is the perfect gulf front condo. Desiree and Robin are the ultimate owner/manager team. Beachcrest is in the ultimate location. Great restaurants in walking distance. Great stores. The bike path right out the front. Publix is 1.5 miles away. And the beach is right out your window! The ONLY problem we had was that we had to leave...

  Let me start by saying that this is a nice condo that has recently been renovated. That being said, we had some problems. When we arrived, a cooking eye on the stove was turned on. We found out later that it had been turned on since the cleaning agency was last there, 5 days before. The washing machine was full of dirty towels. We assume that they had been there for 5 days also. One sliding glass door to the balcony had a broken door handle and was "frozen" in place. The other sliding glass door required brute strength to open it. We contacted Robin, who was out of town. She said that she would have Desiree call us. Desiree called the next day and identifed herself as the owner, who lived locally. We expressed our concerns and she said that she would handle things. The door handle was repaired the next day. The rollers on the door were not fixed until 3 days later. The washing machine remained broken for our entire stay. Desiree apologized for the problems and seemed to make a sincere effort to get things repaired., Despite her efforts, the problems were more than an inconvenience. We were never offered any compensarion for the problems until we asked for it. After two days, Desiree offered us a $100 discount on any reservation we made with her in 2013. That was later raised to $200 wih the explanation that they were raising their rates $100 in 2013. We were told that they felt our problems were not major, just an inconvenience. Believe me, when the sliding glass doors to the balcony do not work well for 3 days and the washing machine is broken for the entirs visit, we felt it was more than just an inconvenience. If you go, you will enjoy the condo. Hopefully everything is fixed by now. Nicely decorated with a great view. If you have problems, well good luck!

  Owner response: In response to Dave’s recent review, there were some slightly inaccurate points. First I believe Robin and I were very accommodating in that we were able to offer an early check in of 10:00am instead of the posted 4:00pm. Saturday Dave and Pat arrived at our unit and contacted Robin to advise her of the burner situation. Pat stated that our unit was the nicest of all the units they had ever rented at Beachcrest, having vacationed there many times in the past. Less than 24 hours later on Sunday, Robin and I were contacted, regarding the broken sliding glass door handle in the master bedroom. It was repaired early Monday morning by our maintenance crew. Initially I felt this was not an emergency, as the Living Room also had balcony access. As for “brute strength”, being required to open the sliding glass door in the Living Room - definitely an exaggeration. The building was built in the 1980’s and has withstood numerous hurricanes! As a gulf front unit, the elements have taken their toll on sliding our very heavy glass balcony doors. During Dave and Pat’s stay, I was able to research and arrange a more permanent solution for opening both sliding glass doors in the master bedroom and the living room. As for the washing machine, it did indeed have a knob with stripped threads, rendering it inoperative. Dave advised me that the washing machine was no problem, as they had no intentions of using it during their stay. It only became an issue, when he requested compensation for the inconvenience. During the course of the week, I was in constant contact with Dave, via phone or text. We now have a more responsible, highly recommended cleaning service. I was unable to have the washing machine problem resolved before Dave and Pat departed, offering to pay for cleaning of their clothes. They need only submit a bill. As for the “sliding glass door” inconvenience, I offered to deduct $200 from a future stay in our unit for 2013. Dave rejected both offers, instead requesting a $250 refund. I do appreciate Dave’s attention to these slight problems in our unit, however, despite a $30,000 total kitchen and bathroom renovation; we believe our condo is well worth our rates. It is unfortunate that Dave chose to rate our beautiful condo with a 3 stars out of a possible 5! This rating is not warranted, and I wish Dave could have enjoyed the many benefits of our fabulously decorated, extremely comfortable unit, instead of concentrating on slight annoyances

  Our week long stay in this condo was wonderful. The unit is lovely and very well decorated and equipped. There was nothing that we needed that wasn't there. The view of the water and beach is fantastic. It's location is very desirable. Close to shopping and wonderful restaurants. We would certainly stay here and again recommend to others.

  We have been vacationing in Seagrove Beach for the past 10 years. We've stayed at several places along 30A but have especailly liked Beachcrest and have stayed there in our most recent 5 trips. We generally book using Garrett Realty but decided to book using VRBO as it was slightly cheaper with an "all inclusive" rate for this unit. Overall, the unit was nice and as advertised in the description and pictures. The large flat screen TV in the living space was nice and we especially liked the walk in shower in the master. The one issue we had was checking in on time at the 3 o'clock check in time. We scheduled our travel to arrive at 1 o'clock hoping we could check in early or worst case we would spend a couple of hours at the beach until the unit was clean from the prior week. We went to the unit at 3 and discovered the unit was not clean and the cleaning crew had not even arrived. We didn't receive any messages indicating cleaning was late. We left a message for the owner who go back with us quickly. Turns out there had been a staffing issue with the cleaning service that day and they didn't communicate the issue. The cleaning crew finally arrived at 5 and we didn't "check in" until after 7 p.m. We have a13 month old daughter who has a bedtime of 7. Needless to say we had to get back in our car (after having already been driving for 9 hours that day) and drive up and down highway 98 to feed our child and let her take a nap until the cleaning crew finished. I will say the owner responded to our calls and got in touch with the cleaning crew to get the situation worked out. They were very apologetic and indicated this had never happened before. There was a break down in communication between the cleaning crew and owner that we ultimately had to pay for with the inconvenience. They "compensated" us with two free cleaning services for the week - from the same cleaning crew that was the source of the entire issue. Needless to say, we didn't really trust them at that point. The week did get better and we had a nice stay. We will most likely pay a little more and book through Garrett for future trips. Never had any problems with Garrett.

  We stayed a week with our 2 yr old and 7 month old. The condo was very kid-friendly. We had a little trouble checking in...the unit was not quite ready, but Robin assured us that everything would be ready soon, and it was. We would definitely go back in the future.

  We had a wonderful vacation at your condo. It was just what we imagined from the pictures on your website. Everything was very clean and well-maintained, with all of the necessities of home. Robin was really fast to respond to our rental inquiry and very sweet when I called her . Our family will definitely look forward to staying here again. The area is quiet and at the same time so convenient to restaurants, shopping, etc. We highly recommend it!!!

  The view from this unit is fantastic! The remodeling superb! In fact, we barely left the condo, other than to walk on the beach. Robin is so easy to deal with, quick to respond to any questions. This vacation was one of the most relaxing vacations we've had in quite a long time. The other guest were very friendly. We hope to come back next year!
