Nestled in a serene, woodsy setting, Pine Grove School Cottage is ideal as a great Saugatuck getaway with accommodations for 2 to 4 persons. In the heart of downtown, on a no-thru street, it's located just a block from marinas, boardwalk, dining, shopping & nightlife while still being just 5 minutes from Lake Michigan.
This quaint studio cottage shares the property with the historic former Saugatuck schoolhouse built in 1855. Outside is a private deck with chiminea fireplace, and an English garden.
The interior features include: gas fireplace, cathedral ceilings, full service kitchen with dishes, microwave and dishwasher, laundry facilities, cable TV, and air conditioner. Sheets and towels are also available. Pine Grove Cottage now has wireless internet available for your use. The loft is no longer available.

We recently stayed at Pine Grove Cottage - I wish there were a GREAT between excellent and good, because it was just a hair short of excellence - but I'm a tough rater! The cottage is so beautifully furnished with everything you need, and is very private feeling, like you're in a world of your own. The pictures are very accurate, and it truly is a studio, but if feels roomy with two people. The owner, Doug, was very accomodating, and very interested in making sure we were happy, comfortable and satisfied with everything. The gardens are lovely. We will definitely stay here again, and I cannot recommend it enough. VERY convenient to EVERYTHING!!!!! And very clean.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, age 55+.
