  La Paz is simply amazing. Peaceful, relaxing, and not overcrowded with tourists. The villa really is a 5 star resort. I had my doubts at first, but my expectations were exceeded. You can really tell that Pat & Holly really put in a lot of effort into making their guest's stay pleasant. There was even a well thought out book with every possible recommendation as to where to go in town and suggestions of places to eat. I've been recommending this place to everyone that asks me how my vacation went, I just can't stop talking about it. What more could you ask for when you can lay out in the cabana with the pool to your side and the beach in front of you and drinks being served right to you? We went on a snorkeling excursion with wild sealions, which was just unreal. The baby sealions just come up to play with you. Then to a private beach to have some fun in the sun. I recommend going to the Azul restaurant at the resort for a nicer meal and we went to the Rancho Viejo for a more authentic Mexican meal. Keep up the great work! And I can't wait to be back.

  This is by far the best resort in LaPaz. The Villa was a clean, custom furnished home with granite counter tops and beautiful floors. You feel like a King in a castle. (With a view) Down at the beach resort infinity pool, you are attended to as if you we're the King. Even the public restroom was 5 star! I felt very safe and would definitely recommend to my family and friends!

  Just returned from my fabulous vacation at this CostaBaja villa and I'm trying to figure out how soon I can go back. This villa is perfect. I had high expectations and honestly they were surpassed. It is spacious and beautiful. The resort is absolutely 5 stars also. The beach club might just be my new favorite place. This villa is a must stay! You will not be disappointed! Thank you to the owners for providing such a gorgeous and relaxing vacation.

  HI Patrick and Holly, I just wanted to personally thank you again, for allowing us to stay at your condo. Rick and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Your unit is beautiful and you have it furnished so well. We enjoyed the private patio, access to the private pool for the condo’s as well as the Beach Club. LaPaz is my favorite vacation and now, your condo is my favored place to go. J Thank you for allowing us to rent it on short notice. Cindy and Bernie did a wonderful job. They were so helpful as well as the book they put together…we found some new places including the wonderful organic juice bar. (The owner does massages next door.) Thank you so much, Miller’s!

  Our stay at the Costa Baja Resort was amazing. We were picked up at the airport(Cabo San Lucas) by Bernie (Casita Manager) and transported to the Casita in La Paz where Cindy, Bernie's wife met us to go over all the aspects of the casita. Both Bernie and Cindy spent time asking us about our interests while in town and pointed us to some great restaurants and excursions. We rented the golf cart for our 5 night stay and it was well worth it. Every morning we took it down the hill to the marina for breakfast prior to our daily boating adventure. The Casita was very well appointed. I wish I knew what laundry detergent the cleaners use on the linens and towels because they smelled so fresh and felt so soft. Bernie and Cindy are very good property managers and we felt so reassured knowing they were english speaking and we could call on them should anything happen or if we just had questions. We would definitely stay again at the Marina Costa Baja Casita. It's very luxurious.

  Great casita has all the amenities and great location. Unfortunately there was a downside we were told the check out time was at 10 am which was really early having a late flight. We were never told La Paz would have a time change moving the hour ahead by 1 hour. The cleaning lady showed uo at 9:35 am and started cleaning while we were packing which was rude. I advise the owner of what happend but whe did not care.

  Owner response: Dear Felipe, Thankyou for your kind words towards our unit, however with regards to your early check out time, I feel I must respond. You had written to us prior to your check in asking if you could stay late as your plane did not leave until later that day. Unfortunately, we had guests arriving that same day and notified you that we would need to stay with our agreed upon time of 10 am so we would have time to clean and get the place ready for our next guests. However, we did offer to hold your luggage with the consierge and offered for you to stay at the resort as long as you would like, just not in the actual unit as we needed to prepare it. With regards to the maid showing up early, you had written me that she showed up at 9:45 am not 9:35, either way she was happy to wait outside the unit until our managers arrived at 9:55 for check out. What you failed to mention in your review was that we became aware of additional people staying in our unit, rather than the 4 that we had agreed upon. The additional people agreed that they had stayed in the unit and you verified that in your email to me. We strive to provide the best product at the best price to our guests and charge additional fees based on the number of people staying to cover costs of cleaning, electricity etc... I simply witheld the additional money owed for your additional guests ($25 per day) to cover our costs. I find it particularly hurtful to have someone intentionally deceive me and threaten me with a poor review. I hope that anyone reading this response can evaluate our other reviews vs this one and realize that this is not how we treat our guests. We strive to do everything possible to give our guests the best experience possible.

  We had a family of 6 staying during the first of January. This week was our final week in a 3.5 week visit to La Paz. It was everything that was promised in the VRBO listing.The unit has a grand feel to it, with attention to the smallest details. We felt like we were staying in a luxury condo unit with the highest American standards. But one step out of doors and it was all Mexico. The gardens and surrounding landscape were kept in a very beautiful native plant arrangement. The main pool of the building had wonderful large palapas. The view out to the Sea of Cortez from the main building lounge was breathtaking, especially at sunset. A short walk down the hill to the beach club and marina, provides every amenity. Fine dining, relaxing by the infinity pool, exercise room, (overlooking the water), hot tub, beachside fire ring, cabanas and ocean side lounge chairs. The beach club staff are attentive and this is a private club, so no vendors bothering you trying to sell things. Within a short drive, everything that La Paz has on offer is waiting for you. The people that live in a place are what define it and in La Paz, they are truly the friendliest we have ever encountered. After traveling to many countries around the world, the Mexican people in the Baja and sense of hospitality is like no other. Don't worry about researching what to do or where to eat in La Paz, Bernie has done that for you. "the book", has something for everyone and for any kind of mood you are in. We found this information very helpful and helped us to focus on the best of La Paz.

  What a special place! The Vistamar was perfect for our family vacation. The Property Managers, Cindy and Bernie, were fantastic. When we arrived, Bernie gave us a tour of the La Paz, pointing out everything from restaurants to where to buy the best fresh shrimp. The kitchen was very will stocked and it was easy for us to make meals there. Staying here without a car would work just fine, but it was nice to have the car to drive to town and along the shoreline to visit other beaches. (It was a great drive, but we still loved the beach and pools right at the complex the best!). The setting was beautiful.This is not an easy place to leave.

  Hi Pat, Many thanks for a great home to rent for our vacation, Your property managers are both professional and friendly, we were very happy to stay at your place, its too bad we had to stay in another place part way through because you were previously booked for part of our trip, and man what a difference in the two properties! we went to check into our other property and it was a mess!! Thanks goodness Bernie and Cindy were there to save the day. We walked out of that place and They found us a replacement property the very same afternoon.
