Me and my 3 sisters (with small kids) vacationed at the pink castle.I cannot say enough good about our experience. The house is huge. We had 6 small kids with 5 adults and we were never on top of each other. Ok, the beach is literally across the street. Barely no traffic- great for kids. We had the beach to ourselves with lots of exploring ( horseshoe crabs, shells, walks) and we were able to return for lunch and potty brakes with no problem. The boardwalk is a short drive which was great to visit . We had lots to do, we did the waterpark, a free incredible zoo, a ferry ride, and mini-golf. It was a busy, fantastic vacation. The sunsets are so beautiful they actually look like a postcard. And yes, for those Starbucks fans- there is one about 5 miles from the house.Perfect! Sunset Castle was the perfect home for our family vacation. The house is clean and provides lots of amentities to renters. The water is close by. The neighborhood is adorable and quiet. True to its name, the sunsets are amazing from the house! Our party was 8 adults and 2 small children. There was plenty of room for everyone!Did you find this review helpful? My sister & I spent the week after Labor Day at Sunset Castle. it was absolutely beautiful. The house was well equiped & easy to find. We woke up to the sound of the ocean & watched the sun set over it at night. It's within easy access of main roads, sightseeing & resturants. We spent sister time, like when we were kids. With just the two of us in this four bedroom house, we were spoiled beyond belief... I also felt the owner was prompt in returning e-mails & phone calls. She was accessable & great to work with. I would truly recommend this great vacation house.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

We spent a wonderful week here with our friends (3 families with kids). House is spacious, with lots of sunlight and recently renovated - pictures on website don’t lie. Sunsets are so picturesque we made it a habit to watch them, couldn’t miss even one for the whole week. Beach is never crowded and water is wormer than on the ocean side. No big waves either, great for children! Beach volleyball, kayaking, bicycle riding, fishing, dolphin watching – we brought home a lot of good memories and beautiful pictures. Thank you very much for sharing your house with us!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

We spend a wonderful week in July, 2010. The house is really nice, very well kept and stocked up, with plenty of light and airy rooms. When they stay you only need to bring bed sheets - they mean that. You could find everything you might possible need to make your stay as comfortable as you like. The house is only 5 min to the shops, yet away from traffic area - could not be better. The beach is literally 5 yards away. It's very quite and secluded. If you're looking for some piece and quite then you found it and we absolutely loved it. The only downside of the beach was that the bottom of the ocean floor is gooey and icky. We figured, it was because the beach is not directly on the Atlantic Ocean side, but rather on the sound side, therefore it does not get washed up with tides. The upside of this was that the water was very very warm, all the time - regardless of low or high tides. Dolphins came almost every day - a big attractions for my family. But the cherry on a cupcake - the most incredible sunsets you could see. And we've had front row seats for 7 days in the row. Whoever said that San Francisco has the most beautiful sunsets, apparently has never been to Sunset Castle.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, people with disabilities.

We just spent a week at Sunset Castle in Cape May and loved every minute of it. The property is even nicer than appears in the picture with the most beautiful view of the sunset each evening that I've ever seen. Everything in the house is comfortable and homey. Having never been to the area before it was nice to find several brochures letting us know what was going on in town, directions to get there, and places to eat if you chose to dine out. All in all our experience at Sunset Castle was excellent and we were sad to leave. Hopefully we'll get back there soon. Thank you for sharing your home with us and showing us that some of the best vacations are right in our own back yard. This was the first time we rented a house in Cape May, we usually stay in a B&B, but since there were 4 of us we decided to give it a try.It was great, the view from the house was lovely and the beach only a few seconds away. Everything we wanted to see, was just a short drive and very accessible (the ferry was just down the street). The house was so comfortable that we ate in more than we planned, and spent many evenings just relaxing. We would defintely stay again.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, age 55+, sightseeing.
