Welcome to the Maple Walnut Farm located on the edge of Letchworth State park. We overlook the park onto the next ridge. We have a lovely wrap around porch to take in the breathtaking view with a cup of coffee in hand while you converse with your friend.... We are also in the heart of Beautiful farm country. If your looking for a quiet retreat its here. Our home may be older but its spacious and plenty of room to relax or have a grand time!!! We also have plenty to do here as far as nature can provide. The park offers plenty of hiking, rafting, Beautiful scenes of the gorge and falls. We also have the Letchworth Balloonists nearby who would be happy to take u for a ride!!! We are 5 minutes away from Silver Lake for the boat, skiing,and sailing lovers. its also loaded with plenty of fish for the fisherman both open water and ice fishing. For the hunters; trophy whitetails abound as the point restrictions in the park has brought average net scores of the racks up considerably. we are located 1/4 mi. away from the snowmobile trail. the area has plenty cross country skiing trails and we are 1/2 hr. away from Swain Ski Slope. for the amuzement park lovers , we are 45 min away from Darian Lake Amusement Park. We are 1/2 hr away from Geneseo. where all the shops are as well as SUNY College.we are 1/2 hour away from Houghton College/Academy. We are also 1hr. away from Rochester and Buffalo.

This is an old farmhouse which has been well maintained and was very clean when we arrived. The website provided accurate descriptions of the house, but the surrounding area is so vast and beautiful, it would be hard to capture it all. We had a fantastic time with our whole extended family. Beautiful setting, lots of space, swimming pool, covered wrap around porch, perfect for young and old alike. The house comfortably accommodated 5 families. We even had separate bedrooms for girl cousins and boy cousins. The owners checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and went out of their way to accommodate us. I loved spending early morning sipping coffee on the porch and watching the sun rise over the valley. One of the hiking trails to Lechworth State Park is just down the road. Some of our party got in some great bike rides and aerobic exercise. There was a charcoal grill for us to use, a large picnic table and a fire pit. We spent evenings chatting around the fire and roasting marshmallows then went for a midnight swim in the pool. Extended family members got away from the crowd by camping in a cabin at the park and joining us for meals and evening activities at the farmhouse. There were also motels less than 10 miles away for more civilized lodging options. But it was also okay to pitch a tent in the yard, which some of the cousins did just because they could. Maple Walnut Farm was also great home base for exploring many attractions within a couple hours. Lechworth State Park, Silver Lake, Niagra Falls, Darien Theme Park, Hidden Valley Animal Adventure and more. On our last night, in order to avoid cooking and clean-up, we took all the kids to Charcoal Corral and Silver Lake Drive-in for pizza and a double feature movie. There was mini-golf and bouncy-toys on the property, the restaurants were air-conditioned, and there was a playground in front of the movie screens. Everyone had a blast. Many thanks to Loretta and Doug. Our family reunion at Maple Walnut Farm will be remembered and talked about for years to come.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

My sister's family of 4 and my family of 4 spent our Christmas this year at this very lovely, comfortable and fully decorated for Christmas vacation home. It was beyond all of our expectations! We all had one of the most wonderful Christmases ever. There was plenty of room for all of us to hang out, play games, cook, eat, watch TV and sleep!! Everything was spotless (and I'm very picky) and clean. Beds were very comfortable and all the seating was more than accommodating. We will definitely be referring this place to friends/family and will be staying again!! The owners were extremely nice and helpful!! Couldn't ask for more!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway.

I grew up in Warsaw, New York--just twenty minutes from Maple Walnut Farm--but now have three children and live in Washington, D.C. This past summer we rented Maple Walnut Farm for one week in August. My parents and my brother stayed with us as well, and we had several get-togethers with other family members and friends throughout the week, which the size of the house easily accommodated. We had a very peaceful week. Our visitors from the city commented on how relaxing the atmosphere was. The view of the cornfields is excellent. The house is roomy, spacious and attractive. The Millers were immediately available and gracious for any and all issues we had, such as an internet glitch one morning. My husband is an attorney glued to his computer, and Loretta did all she could to get the connection up and running again, which we were very grateful for. Close by is the Charcoal Corral, which has excellent fast food, games for the kids and a real drive-in movie theater. Maple Walnut Farms is one of the places that make Western New York special and unique.Recommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

Me and my friends have stayed their for 3 years and love it there. Place is clean and beautiful scenery. Owner is very friendly and nice. The only thing that we found to be alittle problem was her children kept hanging out by the porch where some of the ladies were smoking and using adult language. We didn't want the children to be around either one of these things. We had to ask them to go by their house so they wouldn't be exposed to these things. Very sweet children and they did listen. Can't wait to go next year.Recommended for: Families with young children, girls getaway.
