Loved your place! A little small but great for short trips. I have never been to Daytona & I was pleasantly surprised by how much was going on, especially for my granddaughter. My husband and I may try to get away for a long weekend there next month if possible. Donna P.S. the maintenance guy was the best, helped us a lot. Deserves a raise!!

Hi Michelle, We had a great time. The unit was exactly what we needed. The place was very clean when we arrived. The view was beautiful. The kids had a great time in the pool when they took a break from the beach. I passed your information on to someone we met at a tiki bar. The young lady lives in Daytona, but is from Illinois. She was looking for an inexpensive, nice place that her family can stay when they come to visit. Hopefully they will contact you. I don't know if you or the owner are aware that the blind in the unit is broken. About a foot of the blind at the end by the door is missing. At night, the lights from the parking lot shine in on the ceiling. Also the handle on the broom is broken. We joked that we needed a three year old to sweep because that is about as long as the handle is. Unfortunately, I got the job because I was the shortest. The kids also said the broom was too short for me to fly on. You have to love their sense of humor! We will be contacting you when we take our next trip to Daytona. Thank you so much for your help. Thanks so much Michelle for the use of your condo, it's was very clean and quiet and what a great price, we will stay with you again.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Scary, scary place

This place is great if you love getting woke up during the night by the cops banging down the door to one of the permanent residents across the hall. Don't believe the pics online.....they definitely weren't from the condo we stayed in. The sofa bed wasn't able to be used, so one member of our family had to sleep on the floor each night. Keep looking......If it looks too good to be true, it probably is!

Owner response: As I explained to Cathy - we were very sorry she had trouble with the sofa bed. We were unaware of this problem until another guest told us. The sofa bed has been removed and replaced with a nice quilted queen size bed. The unit is currently being painted as we decided to take this opportunity of change to make improvements. This unit will now sleep 4 perfectly. I apologized to Cathy for this and for the trouble she had during her very buzy 4th of July stay. During major events such as the Daytona race and the fourth of July - people can get pretty pumped up. We are located in almost the heart of Daytona Beach USA. Five blocks north of the Ocean Center, Boardwalk etc... There are all walks of life from all over the US & the world visiting at any given time. Unfortunately things happen we as owners can not control. The Daytona Beach Club has a night security guard, security cameras in the garages and is working on the idea of a gated garage. They are striving to keep things SAFE & not scarey. We have value rooms and when travelers are on a budget we provide the best we can in terms of a clean room, beautiful pool and the endless sand & sea. We do not like negative experiences but have learned that some people can never be pleased. We apologize greatly to Cathy & her family. We have made adjustments & move forward learning from our experience!

Everything was just as pictured and very clean. The pool was huge and also very clean. Even though it is an older building it seemed as if it is maintained very well. Loved waking up and being able to look out onto the beach. In the evening enjoyed looking out over the city. Enjoyed the fact that we could leave the pool area and be directly on the beach. For the price, you couldn't beat it! Thank you again for making our Florida trip enjoyable! The Scheivert Family

Honeymoon Getaway

My wife and I rented the room a few days before a weekend getaway. The room is very nice and in a great location. The only issue was uncomfortable beds. Other than that, I love the view and the location. It is within walking distance of the Ocean Walk area. Would definetly stay again. Thanks Michelle.

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

Hey Michelle I just wanted to say thank you for all of your help. We really enjoyed our stay. You were so much help and the condo was exactly the way you described. No surprises. Also, Robert fixed the remote control. It just needed to be reprogrammed. Oh and we forgot some apples in the drawer in the fridge. (sorry). I hope housekeeping found that. The unit was just as it was pictured. The property could be better lit at night, but it was clean and well maintained. The kids enjoyed being so close to the beach and being able to go from the beach to the pool so easily. The location was amazing!!

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children.
