The spectacular natural beauty of Kauai is well known to travelers seeking a destination on United States soil with lots of outdoor activities, low population density and modern conveniences. The pictures in this listing do not do it justice! It's a sweet little private apt in a lovely setting. The accommodations and amenities are more than you could ask for and the views are icing on the cake. It was clean and fully stocked. I loved that the owners recycle and compost. I was able to recycle, just as I do at home. It's a good location for accessing most of the island I loved my stay there and hope to return.

Debbie and Ken, Thank you for sharing your little bit of paradise with us. Valley View is a perfect spot to enjoy all the island has to offer. Unexpectedly, my favorite part of the trip was the rain. It reminded me of summers in childhood, so unlike the cold winter rain we get in San Fransisco. Throw the windows open and listen to the deluge- wonderful! We also especially enjoyed how dark the sky got at night-and the beautiful stars(& shooting stars!) Thank you both for making us feel so at home, complete with amazing home grown avocado, banana, and papaya. A & J & baby A, San Fransisco, CA

Dear Ken and Debbie, It's difficult to put into words how much we've enjoyed Kauai and our stay at Valley View, suffice to say we're entirely in Love with both! This place is a true gem. I had no idea how nice it would be. You have a lovely home. It was so completely stocked we felt it was our home away from home. We can't wait to visit again! Thank you so very much for your hospitality. Sincerely, L & J- Santa Cruz, CA

Mahalo Debbie and Ken, It was fantastic staying here with you! Thank you for providing the opportunity for us visitors to get to experience Kauai "off the beaten path". From composting, recycling, and info on secret beaches we felt lucky not to be part of the tourist trap scene. Our trip & travels here were magical. Thank you for helping us create the lasting memories! H and A

Aloha Ken and Debbie, During our month of vacation in Hawaii, we rented five condos on four islands and your guesthouse is one of the best. It is well furnished, very clean and what a view on the valley! We enjoyed watching your horses down our veranda. Mahalo for your hospitality and kindness. L & H, Quebec, Canada

Ken and Debbie, Thank you so much for the use of your awesome cottage- The web site does not do it justice. This is the perfect place for a single person or a couple to use as a temporary home on Kauai. The fresh fruit on arrival was very much appreciated. Mahalo, D.M., El Paso, TX

May 3, 2004- Mahalo, Mahalo, Mahalo! to Debbie and Ken for letting us stay in the most beautiful place on Kauai. We loved it and had a great time. The place is warm and cozy, comfortable & quiet, and the view is spectacular! The two of you have been gracious hosts, willing to provide whatever we needed. We could not have asked for more. We will go back to Oahu refreshed with fond memories of "our little cottage in Kauai". Thanks again, J & R Burbank- Oahu, Hawaii.
