  Just got back! All past reviews correct. Units are cozy, spacious, updated. Pool and canal great. We cooked dinner twice on grill. Because place was so nice, spent more time here than originally planned. Front yard(canal side) has grass(other units in area are white rocks) and 3 nice palm trees for shade.Tiki hut for shade w/lots of chairs, loungers by pool, as does the beautiful greenery,flowers around pool fense. So glad we had great neighbors on other side of duplex. Neighborhood quiet. Duplex, yard, parking has lots of privacy, each unit even has private side yard.Beds the most comfortable I have had in a rental. So much room!.Canal side has big table to clean fish, big long areas to tie up boat. Only two wish comments: I wish the unit had ladder into the canal so could dip into canal. Other units around had ladders, so could jump in and get out on someone else's ladder(property). But not knowing neighbors, didnot do. Also, note to future renters: Unit does not have any beach equipment to take to beach. i.e: chairs, beach umbrellas,cooler. We bought and then left behind. We also bought toilet paper, kleenex,dish soap. papertowels, laundry detergent. Unit has washer and dryer!Owner and Jackie very nice and helpful.We usually don't go to same location yr after yr, but after spending a week at this unit, we are considering going back to this unit and the Keys again. Thanks for a wonderful, warm, safe,comfortable place to enjoy the Keys.

  We had a girl’s getaway at this rental the first week in February. We were very pleased with this rental. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. The blender was perfect for drinks. The pictures are exactly as it is. The beds were even comfy or we could have been so tired we didn’t notice if they weren’t. It was nice to have two bathrooms for 3 ladies to get ready. The pool was wonderful, although a lot of debris would collect in it but our neighbor in the other half would clean it out (thanks). A little cold at first but if it wasn’t it wouldn’t be refreshing. The canal was clear but no manatee. The unit is located in a nice quiet neighborhood. Because it is in Duck Key it is in the center of the keys. A little drive either way would always find you something to do. A must do is see the Turtle Hospital, very interesting and well worth it. Also the flea market in Big Pine was fun, mostly Cathy’s Place. She had a lot of nice things especially the scarf charms. I would recommend this rental to anyone and if I ever return to the Keys I would love to stay here again.

  I am usually the type to never stay somewhere without being there before or it being a well known chain or someone recommended it to me. We really wanted to stay on Duck Key and I just happened to find this duplex on VRBO. We were so pleasantly surprised with this duplex. It is in a beautiful neighborhood, on a beautiful canal that included passing manatee and the pool is big, clean and only used by the duplex. We had a wonderful week there. We enjoyed staying at the duplex so much we spent a great deal of time there just having drinks under the tiki hut by the pool. Another thing we were happy with was that the kitchen was fully outfitted with everything we needed. We enjoy cooking and hoped that we would have the right utensils and pans. We would recommend it to anyone. In the future, we would like to go there some time with our kids and grandkids but we would need to rent both duplexes.

  Just return from Duck Key. This well maintained unit is on a saltwater canal in the heart of Duck Key. Quiet,private & updated,private pool + boat dockage.Could not be better. We will be returning.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children.

  This was an awesome property . We enjoyed staying here very much. We would love to return to this property. The canal was amazing. It was very clear, with a sea turtle , rays , and eel sightings. We were entertained with the canal and its beauty . We also got some fun fishing in as well. Kids were so happy fishing all day. We loved the HUGE pool and pool deck. It was really great. The photos depict the unit very well. Unit was very clean and we felt right at home.

  Rented through VRBO many times. This property was spot on. The unit was nicely updated, comfortable and clean. The location was wonderful. The canal in the back of the house was so clean. There is a fast moving current which can hamper the fishing a bit, but we did catch some Mangrove Snapper! We watched sea turtles and rays come swimming through as well. The pool was huge and had full sun all day. I can't wait to get back. My only wish is that it were pet friendly so I could stay for a full month! Definitely will return!

  We rented the poolside unit Oct 24 through to Nov 3. The unit is clean, updated and the beds very comfortable. The owner and Jackie were a dream to work with. Any problem was handled immediately. We are two retired people and enjoyed the quiet relaxing atmosphere of Duck Key. We would highly recommend this rental to anyone wanting to enjoy fishing and sightseeing.

  we had a wonderful time. the logding was great. five adults and plenty of room.fully equiped kitchin including blender. cable tv with bose sound sys.. the pool was clean and property well maintained. we took a 25ft boat and had plenty of docking room. the clear water canal is beauitful . we saw all kinds of fish an turtles.we were minutes from the gulf an atlantic. i would highly recomend this rental to family an friends.

  Beautiful house, looks exactly the way it is on the pictures, has everything that's needed for a perfect vacation.Located in a very nice clean and quite area, crystal clear water in the canal, we saw sharks and sea turtles in it, not to mention different types of fish. The owner is great, very helpful, outgoing, is always there when you need him. I would definitely recommend this house to all of my friends and relatives,and will be returning there myself as soon as i have a chance.
