Come and enjoy our “Seaside Getaway.” The home is beautifully landscaped and completely redecorated inside. You’ll be just one block from the beach with access directly across the street. It’s also just three blocks to Center Street where you’ll find many great shops and restaurants.
The house features all new furnishings and electronics, including a 60' plasma TV in the living room, TVs in each bedroom, and WiFi. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and its own full bathroom. The first guest room also has a king-size bed with two twin beds in the second guest room. Check out the new pictures. We’ll continue to update the pictures as we complete the finishing touches on the gorgeous house!
We haven't had any pets stay at the Seaside Getaway, but if they are important to you we will consider them. There will be an additional charge.

What a treat we had to be the very first guests at the Seaside Getaway! My family, which included four adults, two pre-schoolers and one very sweet little Dixie dog, enjoyed our stay immensely. Everything was clean and well-maintained. We had plenty of room and, especially, enjoyed the large open living/dining/kitchen area. The friendly and accommodating owners had thought of everything we would need during our stay. The high-end furnishings, linens and tasteful decor were a nice bonus. We spent a lot of time in the backyard where the kids enjoyed the hammock and lush, green grass. The beautiful new landscaping added so much to the front yard. Access to the beach was just a few minutes away as well as the short walk to Center Street. We really enjoyed trying out all the great restaurants and the views from the Pier were gorgeous. Don't miss the 20-25 minute drive to see the Angel Oak! Amazing experience! And, of course, who can visit Folly Beach and not ride to Charleston to take in all the beauty, history, houses and gardens of the Holy City! Plan at least one day for that. And don't miss "Bert's" store, a long-time, island "legend". They carry any and every thing you could possibly need! The owners were quick to return phone calls, answer any questions and genuinely concerned about our comfort and safety. We try to visit Folly two or three times a year and, all in all, this trip was one of the best we've ever experienced! Thank you, Kevin and Kathy, for sharing your beautiful home with us. We will definitely plan a return visit as soon as possible!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

About the owner: We are Kevin and Kathy, proud owners of the “Seaside Getaway.” When the military moved us to the Charleston 15 years ago, we fell in love with the area especially the great beaches. After retiring, there was no doubt where we wanted to be and are now proud to call the low-country our home. Seaside Getaway is a perfect opportunity for us to do what we enjoy most: meet new friends, enjoy the laid back beach life, and help you enjoy all Folly Beach and historic Charleston have to offer.
