The suite is located on the ground floor of a 1925 historic home and includes a large, light-filled great room with 10-ft high ceileings, beautiful woodwork, custom tile gas fireplace, leather furniture, oriental rug, tile floors and french doors that open to a small patio in a private, english-style garden. Suite includes one bedroom with a queen-sized bed, crisp linens, down comforters and pillows and roomy closet - another smaller bedroom that sleeps one, and a small but elegant bath with custom tile shower. Other ammenities include kitchen table and chairs, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, full size washer and dryer, cable TV and WiFi access.

we stayed at this jewel box for a week to attend a wedding and visit with old friends. The space is generous and immaculate, tastefully decorated and very private. We appreciated staying in a lovely, quiet neighborhood instead of downtown. The garden right out the french doors is charming and makes the space even more appealing. Highly recommend!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway, age 55+.

We had a wonderful time at the University Garden Suite and were so lucky to stay here! The accommodations are top-notch, the location is convenient to everything we wanted to do in Seattle (and we'd never been here before) and it was a terrific place to catch up with our daughter, who lives near the UW campus. It was close to all the city amenities and sightseeing places, but far enough removed to be a quiet, safe and comfy refuge when we wanted to "come home". The apartment is beautifully appointed and newly furnished and the owners are gracious hosts who take care of every detail. The other day, a business partner told me he would go to Seattle in a few months and I told him, "Have I got a place for you!" Our stay was just perfect and we hope to come again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the University Garden Suite. The rooms were in excellent condition, spacious, and beautifully decorated. We would highly recommend this suite to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay in a great part of Seattle. University Garden Suite is in an excellent neighborhood close to the lake and University of Washington. It is also within walking distance of just about anything needed. The apartment is private, newly remodeled, clean, and comfortable. The owners are very attentive. They made sure we knew how to get to the place, where to park, and how to get into the apartment. They verified that the wifi was working and that all appliances were working. The two dogs, Jupiter and Zoey, are fun to play with. Jupiter, who should be named Mercury because he is small and fast, even took naps with me. I highly recommend this place; you will not be disappointed.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Jupiter and Zoey, our Jack Russell Terriers, can't resist peeking in the french doors to see what guests are up to - they are very curious and friendly creatures. But of course they only visit our guests in the suite itself when they're invited. They also suggested that I tell everyone that they're ok with having a tennis ball thrown for them now and again...
