This three level home offers something for everyone. The loft with bedroom and bath has a pool table. On the main floor, relaxation luxury awaits in the master bedroom with its own fireplace and whirlpool tub. Downstairs bedroom and bath and family room complete with foosball, TV, and XBox.
Quietly tucked away in the foothills, our home is perfect for your family get away or a gathering with friends. Alta Sierra Country Club is five minutes from the house. Enjoy morning coffee on the deck and take in the turkeys, deer and foxes that frequent the area, or stargaze at night. Whether you want to just hang out around the house, or you want to grab your gear and take on activities for the day, this is the place.
The house and its five acres, is centrally located between stunning Lake Tahoe and Sacramento, the state’s capital. Reno is just 1 ½ hours east. After a day-trip to San Francisco, Pacific Coast, Monterey, Muir Woods,or Lake Tahoe, return to the serenity and comfort of home.
Cross country or downhill skiing is just a short drive. Swimming and fishing holes are nearby. The area boasts local wineries and an abundance golf courses, take your pick. Check out the Empire State Mine, learn to pan for gold.
The kitchen is large and perfect for showing off your culinary skills. Or, if you want to take the night off, there are many dining options to choose from in town . Enjoy the upstairs pool table or the foosball downstairs, where there are children toys as well.

Really enjoyed the stay here. The view from the master bedroom was beautiful. Nicely stocked kitchen and great layout. House is perfect for 3 couples - each can have their own floor. Perfect for running and cycling. Would def. stay again. The only negative was the wifi did not work. It was working before we arrived so it is available.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Stayed here for a girls weekend. The house was perfect! A lot of cozy seating areas outside.... Fabulous deck area, front porch, lounge chairs in the sun and lower deck patio by the jacuzzi. House is very clean and nicely decorated. Kitchen has everything you need. So thankful to the owners for renting their home out. Loved shopping and restaurants in Nevada City and Grass Valley.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

For my mini-vacation, I needed to travel to northern California from Washington state. Through the recommendation from my friends, I chose this property for 3-day rest. I am so glad I've made this choice and I shall come back with my family, hopefully soon!Recommended for: People with disabilities, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, age 55+.
