This lovely home certainly had it all. The spaciousness offered privacy and this home was very attractively decorated. Located in an upscale neighborhood near a shopping/dining mall, it was 10 minutes from the heart of Asheville. There were arrangements for pet care and we bonded easily with them. The home had every convenience. There was a great walk-path in the area that our husbands used often. The owners communicated well with us and were helpful making suggestions about area attractions. We were in touch during our stay and still are. We will return to Asheville as it is an artsy destination with many, many fine restaurants, specialty shops, artisans, the Biltmore House, outdoor activities and festivals. Recommend touring the city on a trolley when you arrive for an informative overview. Thank you Carole and Brian for a wonderful time in your home.Recommended for: Pet owners, families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

It is with pleasure and a very fond experience that I write this review. My 3 kids and I spent the long 4th of July week in this very spacious and most comfortable accommodation. Carole and Brian were the most wonderful and gracious hosts. The house is about 15 minutes from downtown Asheville, and an easy walking distance from Biltmore Park with a variety of restaurants, a movie theater, an ice cream parlor, several retails stores and yes a pet bakery. After this experience, it will be hard to stay in a hotel room again. I cannot say enough about Carole and Brian and their kindness and hospitality, especially with my kids. We have found our home away from home in the Asheville area. We might have checked in as guests, but we checked out as friends. Carole and Brian are two of the most friendly and helpful people I have ever met. The description of their home is exactly as it sounds, gorgeous! The home is just a few minutes from the interstate so you can easily get to downtown Asheville or you can walk to the town center at Biltmore Park. There you can find wonderful dining, movies, book store, casual shopping and a modern YMCA. After an evening at the town center, you can stroll back to Carole and Brian's home by way of Biltmore Parks beautifully manicured walking trails. The first floor guest apartment is private with a private entrance. Make sure you ask Carole about her wonderful massage treatments! I would definitely recommend this home and this couple to anyone looking for a great getaway.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

About the owner: We love all that Asheville and the Blue Ridge Mountains have to offer! We can pop the bikes on the car and get to the Bent Creek trails in 10 minutes. We can hike on The Mountain to Sea Trail from our neighborhood. Downtown is 15 minutes away with street musicians and mimes, the drumming circle, and many restaurants and theaters. We live in the house with our 3 dogs and 1 cat and rent out the guest apartment, with the whole house available by arrangement. Brian is a Speaker and Author and does trainings for major corporations. Carole is a Health & Spiritual Coach.
Why the Owner Chose Asheville:
It is close to the airport, downtown, hiking/biking trails and we can walk to our local restaurant shops and movies.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
We love preparing gourmet meals and sitting on the deck in the summer enjoying the view. Then we love sitting in the hot tub and watching the stars while listening to relaxing music! In the winter we like board games by the fireplace. Always love hopping on a bike or walking the nature trails.
