  Jefferson House was an amazing place to stay! It was extremely clean, tastefully decorated and inviting. We only were able to stay one night, but we are ready to go back and spend more time in the town of Franklin and at this adorable house. Thank you, Sarah, for the hospitality!

  Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  Ed and I spent our 38th wedding anniversary here at Jefferson House because of a loving surprise by our daughter Sarah and son-in-law Michael. We spent a quiet morning driving up the Natchez Trace from Florence, Alabama enjoying the scenery. We arrived to the house Friday evening to get another surprise our children left for us, awaiting our arrival was a beautiful bouquet, a bottle of tasty wine and a gift certificate for dinner at Cork and Cow. Oh what a dinner we had there, just the two of us caught in the moment allowing us to recap our life together over the past 45 years. We made our way back to the house as it started to snow. We settled in the warm setting of the downstairs room and awoke in the morning to a light covering of snow. We of course, bundled up for our morning walk in to town for breakfast. I snapped pictures along our brief walk and took in the snowfall. We ate a delicious breakfast at Frothy Monkey and sipped on hot cups of coffee. We returned to the house and started a game of Monopoly in front of the living room fireplace, where it kept us warm. Today we awoke to blue skies and sun.

  I decided to surprise the love of my life with a quick getaway in Franklin for our 1 year anniversary. When I arrived at Jefferson House, I immediately realised that the photos I had seen did not do the house justice. The house is warm and inviting, romantic, and had everything we could possibly need for a wonderful stay waiting for us. The master bedroom is gorgeous, and the claw foot tub was perfect for a relaxing bubble bath. The only regret I have is that we couldn't stay longer. We will definately be back for another stay at Jefferson House. Thank you for sharing your house with us Sarah!!

  Our stay at Jefferson House was a real treat. The house is a wonderfully situated and beautifully appointed home. The decor is peaceful , maybe a little sparse on enough comfortable seating for 6 guests, and serene. The kitchen had all the amenities of home, but again could have used some kind of seating.Iam sure the yard is lovely in the spring and the neighbor exudes friendliness and security. It was a delightful week.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  Thank you so much for a sweet time at Jefferson House with our precious family. Finding this home was truly a blessing for us. We loved playing cards at night fireside, eating at Puckett's and going on an evening Ghost Tour with Franklin on Foot. We will return and look forward to the time!

  We enjoyed our stay at the Jefferson House in Franklin. A beautiful, comfortable home within walking distance to downtown Franklin shopping and dining. We easily drove into Nashville to attend The Grand Ole Opry, but we were happy to return to the house to play board games by the fire. We made many sweet memories with our family. Thank you!!!

  Thank you, thank you for your wonderful home! We've been looking forward to this trip for months and it truly exceeded our expectations. The house was just beautiful, steeped with such history, a true walk back in time. What a wonderful neighborhood, such a beautiful street and just a few minutes walk to town. There was something for everyone in the family- the boys stopped by the Civil War sites and I took the girls shopping down Main Street and we all spent an afternoon at Carnton Plantation. We even found time to explore the area and stumbled upon Leiper's Fork- what a cute town! Also, thanks for your recommendations of Puckett's and Mellow Mushroom, our family never went hungry! We can't recommend this vacation rental enough and we'll certainly be back to this wonderful home. An "A+" from this wife and mother of three.

  What a wonderful weekend! This was a half way meeting point for our family. It was a great trip. The owners were super sweet and had taken care of everything we needed. Their personal touches and attention to detail made for a lovely time. The house was perfect. There were so many things to do within walking distance (Main Street is practically around the corner). Even though there was a Starbucks close by, we enjoyed a cup of coffee on the porch each morning. It was such a wonderful time and we are looking forward to our next trip up that way! Thanks for a great weekend and more great memories!

  It was like going to Grandmother's house for Christmas. I loved it. The convenience of the location was just perfect...we could walk to town or shuttle over to Cool Springs. The grocery was not far and Starbucks is a short walk away. The gas logs were great to help set the mood but could be turned off when it got too hot. It was actually a lot warmer than I had expected for an older home. Thank you for leaving the Christmas tree up...it was so pretty and really made it homey. The furnishings were really done well...simple and elegant. It's a place you could easily see yourself living year round. Thanks for sharing.
