Year Purchased: 2008
About the owner: My husband, who is a physician, and I bought this condo to get out of the Seattle rain; he will be going on sabbatical next winter and we will be travelling instead of being in the desert; I am an artist and designer and real estate property manager; we have put alot of care into decorating the condo and making it very beautiful and livable. Our preference is a one year lease.
Why the Owner Chose Rancho La Quinta:
Rancho La Quinta is one of the BEST communities in the desert; it is so well maintained all the time; we like the desert weather , you can pretty much count on it; the beautiful mountains and wonderful hiking trails make a day outside the ranch very enjoyable; there are lots of concerts at the casinos and many cultural events and very close to LA where we like to shop and visit our friends; Non stop flights from most major cities.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
We bike every day , walk everyday and lift weights and are more active when we are at our condo; it is being on a vacation all the time when we are there. We generaly eat at home and relax, read and watch television. We feel there is not much need to go out, but it is available if we want it. We have an outside eating area and an adjoining sitting area. This condo faces northwest- so it cool during the warmer months - since it is a corner unit- it also faces northeast- we get the morning sun in our bedroom if we want it and it is just lovely becasue we have beautiful butter colored silk drapes in the master.
