A comfortable home, situated in the exclusive deed restricted golfing community of Rotonda West; a beautiful natural habitat, interspersed with lakes, canals and golf courses. Located on Florida's magnificent south west gulf coast.
Whispering Palms is elegantly furnished and offers guests both peace and seclusion; it is ideal for families, couples or snowbirds seeking an escape from today’s hectic lifestyle.
As you enter through the double doors, the villa flows with a cleverly designed open floor plan which is ideal for vacation living. The fully equipped kitchen is open plan to the family room so everyone can be together but for that quiet time there is the formal living room which offers a quiet area away from the melee of family or friends.
The formal dining room offers seating for six but for more casual dining the breakfast nook overlooks the pool, the garden and the lush tropical habitat.
The Master Suite is located on one side of our home and opens onto the pool deck for an early morning swim or a coffee as the world awakens. Offering a kingsize pillow-top bed, sheer bliss, a walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom with dual vanities and Roman shower.
There are two further guest bedrooms one offering a queen size bed and the third with two twin beds.
The Roman style pool has a south west aspect and overlooks a lush tropical backdrop of Palms, Firs and bushes, a haven for wild life, from Armadillos, Raccoons, Foxes to Squirrels and if lucky our local Bob Cat, together with a myriad of birds. Furnished with a dining table for six, chairs, side tables, sun loungers and a gas barbecue for Al Fresco dining whilst enjoying the stunning Florida sun sets and night skies.
Miles of un spoilt coastline with white sandy beaches and turquoise seas are a short drive away; skirted by many barrier islands, such as Don Pedro, where as our guests you have beach rights. Gasparilla Island, with it's quaint town of Boca Grande or Cayo Costo, a Florida State Park.
The Cape Haze peninsular is easily accessible but remote enough to attract abundant wildlife, birds, dolphins, manatees, sea turtles, Bobcats, raccoons, foxes and plenty of alligators all native to south west Florida. From sailing and boating, fishing, golf, fine and casual dining, shopping to the arts there is something for everyone, young and old alike.
We want you to have the perfect stay and we hope we have thought of everything.
So just bring yourselves, some clothes and enjoy all this magnificent home has to offer.

Year Purchased: 2004
About the owner: Bob and I, together with our son Lawrence live in Surrey approximately 25 miles south west of London. Lawrence is in his final year at Central St Martins where he is studying for a BA in womenswear design. Bob is based at Heathrow where he has been for 32 years.
Why the Owner Chose Rotonda West:
We chose to build in Rotonda West due to the peace and beauty of this natural habitat and it's proximity to the stunning coastline of south west Florida.
We hope one day to spend more time in Florida once we are retired but in the interim we love to share Whispering Palms with you our great guests.

After choosing a lot which would offer, a stunning backdrop and wonderful sunsets we next chose a house design which would offer a floor plan conducive to vacation living. We feel we achieved this and are very proud of our villa in Florida and have received many compliments from previous guests.
