  Rating Details: I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was more than happy with the location. The vacation rental was clean. The property manager was more than helpful. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Although the location of the complex was great, minutes from the beach and shops, we thought the general condition of the unit could have been better. We stayed there last year and commented that it could do with some TLC however, nothing has changed. The bedding needs refreshed and the aircon is noisy which means you have to turn the volume up on the TV to get the gist of any diologue on the programme you may be watching. The patio furniture was dirty and there were weeds growing inside the patio/sitting area. The living room furniture is discoloured and the front door is a bit ropy. Therefore I dont think we will re-visit this particular unit again. Manager responded on 1/30/2013: This condo has been upgraded in January 2013 with fresh paint, new bedroom carpeting, new livingroom sofa and loveseat, area rug, tables and artwork.

  Rating Details: I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was clean. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Hi. The yacht club is a great place to stay for location and amenites everything is close at hand ie supermarket ,library, beaches, local transport and events are on in the sports field next door most weekends and of course you have access to fishing or just watching the boats ,birds and dolphins on the intercostal. Our unit was in a great situation within the yacht club Ideal for anyone with limited mobility, but it could do with modernising to some extent eg the TV could do with an upgrade as you could'nt hear it when a/c came on and cooker oven needs self cleaning repair. The m.b.y.c office told us there was no wifi access they said the only one was in the public library or the internet cafes yet we later found there was a computer and internet hot spot in the club house why tell lies??, they need to leave more info in the packs in the units as most people these days want wifi access. we where however very happy with our stay at the yacht club and would go back again if we where in that area. Manager responded on 1/30/2013: This condo has been upgraded in January 2013 with fresh paint, new bedroom carpeting, new livingroom sofa and loveseat, area rug, tables and artwork.

We were able to walk to the grocery store,library,fast food and most of all to the beach. Would come back again if the unit was remodeled.

The condition of the living room furniture is old and worn. Uncomfortable. The bedroom carpet has always been dirty. The Waterfront staff are great.   Rating Details: I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was very dirty. The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: deck dirty with debrie,all deck chairs broken, wallpaper curling, baseboards rotting, stove elements not working, furnace noisy, bed terrible, dvd player remote broken; all-over run; down paid too muchThe location, veiw of boats ands grassed area outside our deck was the only reason we did not leave and ask for a refund. We are not wealthy and not used to 'high class accomodation' so we managed fine with all the 'run downness of the condo' because we loved the weather and ate out a lot (stove not working).We spent as much tie 'outside' on our own patio furniture, as possible......inside was not worth the price we paid. For a few hundred dollars the condo could be made worth the rental price and guests could love the experience..............but as it was especially with the rudeness of the first Waterfront renatal contact to myself on phone and son (on location in another condo) did not help the situation either. The second contact person I booked with by phone was much nicer. I see now why other reveiwers did not recommend the condo (we should have believed is ovious it is owned (or managed) by a 'slum' landloard for sure. To make a 1000% difference 'rental contacts must be polite,listen to concerns, and spend only a few hundred dollars to spruce the condo up (paint,wallpaper,doors)and fix broken appliances,furnace, fans and patio furniture. and clean the place up). If you listen to (read and act upon) this review this condo 261D would be a wonderful rental condo. For us to come back there in 2011 we would need a substantial refund on the amount we paid for our unpleasant stay December 27, 2010 through Jan 10, 2011. rwf Canada Manager responded on 1/30/2013: This condo has been upgraded in January 2013 with fresh paint, new bedroom carpeting, new livingroom sofa and loveseat, area rug, tables and artwork.

Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at Madeira Beach Yacht Club, it was a peaceful location and we felt very secure. Also the location being close to the beach and Johns Pass and two foodstores suited us very well. The only negative is that we felt the unit could be updated and was in need of some TLC.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condition of this condo unit is very poor. It needs painting, clean furniture, repair of broken furniture, replace carpets etc. We would not stay in this unit again and would not recommend to ANYONE. Manager responded on 3/10/2010: Prior to this guest arrival the owner painted the unit and had the carpets professionally cleaned. An inspection will be scheduled at the first opportunity to assess any needed upgrades. This condo has been upgraded in January 2013 with fresh paint, new bedroom carpeting, new livingroom sofa and loveseat, area rug, tables and artwork.
