My husband and I stayed in this condo for a long weekend in March. The condo was in a perfect location to the downtown Kelowna area and we were able to walk everywhere in town easily. You can take the boardwalk along Lake Okanagan or the main streets and be in downtown within 10-15 minutes! There are a couple of resturants right below the condo (coffee shop, wine bar, and french bistro); we did not go to any of them but they looked nice and we never had trouble with noise. The condo itself is nicely furnished and comfortable. The two bedrooms are not large, but there is still room to move around and the bedding was very comfortable. Both bedrooms have plently of closet space too which could accomodate a long stay. It was a little cold when we were in Kelowna, but the condo does have stairs that lead to a rooftop deck that would be nice in the summer as there is no balcony in the main living space. The big windows in the living area do open all the way though so you could have a nice 'indoor-outdoor' space when the weather is nice.Overall this was a great home-base for our weekend in the Kelowna area!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

This unit is a block away from the waterfront/ boardwalk. It is adorable! Loved the chilled white wine waiting for us in the fridge when we came in - nice touch! Below the modern warehouse styled unit was a French Bistro, a wine tapas bar, and a Cuban restaurant. The Cuban place had fabulous espresso in the morning. Walking to everything was a breeze but it was nice having a secure parking garage for our rental car. The boardwalk was really fun, we especailly loved the marshland portion of it right behind the building where you can see turtles, fish and birds. The living/great room was huge and nicely decorated! The pics don't do it justice. The couch was comfy, the kitchen was nicely laid out, and it was great having an ipod dock. The bedrooms were on the smallish side but kinda Japenese Zen styled and cute. There were 2 bathrooms which were clean and had nice linens. The cleaning service was a little on the high side for a 3 day stay. Everything else was stellar, we would definitely stay there again if we were in Kelowna. I am so glad we didn't stay in any of those big hotels along Highway 97, we would have had such a different experience of this town. Those hotels are in the middle of strip mall land where there is not much to do.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.
