About the owner: As the Designer/Builder/Owner of this property I take great pride in offering you the finest in Flathead Valley Lodging at prices that are unmatched anywhere. I have been a licensed General Contractor all my life. I raised my six children in this lodge and now that all have grown up, I am proud to offer my home to you. I have spent 20 years in the Flathead Valley. For me, this will always be home. We here at Glacier Mountain Lodge take great pride in Montana and our lodge. We are certain that you will be thrilled with your stay and will always long to return. I am committed to your satisfaction, and will always strive to be a great host. We are not your typical VRBO... We are a true Montana Lodge offering a variety of amenities and vacation extras. Thank you for taking the time to check us out.
Why the Owner Chose Columbia Falls: I did not buy the property..I built it myself. I am a licensed General Contractor and finished the construction of the home in 2001. This is a true hand hewn and peeled log lodge with 18' Spruce Logs that came right out of the North Fork country 40 miles north of the lodge. Montana is my favorite place. I wanted to raise my children in an unspoiled environment that was not full of concrete, asphalt, and cars. I have never known such kind, unpretentious, honest, sincere and friendly people as I have in Montana. it is people that matter in this world...Not things... And true Montana people are committed to this Philosophy. Get to know us. We are sure you will agree.
The Unique Benefits at this Lodge: This... My Montana property will always be my home. I built it with my own hands, raised my family here, and gave this place my heart. The peace I get from walking to the barn on a long summer evening at 10:00 PM when the sun is just setting, The pleasure of using my four wheeler to plow the driveway on a moonlit night, the time spent fly fishing and hunting with my children, the days of hiking and hunting with my three boys, the kindness and love from my neighbors; All add up to a lifetime. I will cherish these memories forever.
