  Thanks Peg and larry. This was truly peaceful Caribbean luxury. Even though you have the most gorgeous home ever, it is so casual and comfortable, that we felt right at home here. We had so many moonlit nights in the hot tub, lazy afternoons around the bar and more fond family memories than we have had for a long time.

  Bella Sera was a beautiful and amazing villa! Our family enjoyed every minute we were there. The villa is beautiful with no amenity spared from the fully loaded kitchen to the amazing guest rooms. The sound of the ocean and breezes blowing thru the house were amazing and constant. I can't say enough about the beauty of the location. The pool area is amazing and the kids spent hours on the water slide and pool toys and hot tub. The boys enjoyed the house and the villa as much as we did. From feeding the goldfish to the birds, a definite treat and just being there. They asked us how we could ever find a better place. Views are amazing from everywhere. Breathtaking !! The owners pick you up and bring you to the house. Their recommendations on restaurants, snorkeling and deep sea fishing were the best. They are amazing hosts. I would recommend this property to anyone and already have! We rarely return to places, as there are so many places to visit, but there is no doubt we will be back. i can't say enough. Gorgeous and amazing place!!

  Bella Sera, was by far, the most wonderful vacation home we have ever experienced! The home is totally furnished with everything you could possibly need. Everything was very clean and maintained. All that we were told about the property was true and accurate. It easily accommodates 6, with three bedrooms that have ensuite bathrooms. We were greeted at the airport, taken to our rental cars, and even escorted to the grocery store before being taken out to our home in Paradise. The home is very large, with many terraces to sit outside and enjoy the ocean waves, sunsets or to have a bite to eat. The kitchen is totally equipped with all you will need if you choose to eat in. The pool, hot tub, and veranda with pool bar, was our favorite spot. Many pool toys and loungers are available for use. The temperatures were 84 every day and low 70's in the evenings, with sun, sun, sun! The trade winds give way to a breeze that keeps you very comfortable. A/C was always available, but not really needed. Beaches are within walking distance when you want the sand between your toes! The island has a lot to offer and explore. Rum factory tours, hiking in the rain forest, sailing excursions, casino, nice restaurants and shopping, just to mention a few of the things available on the island. We would highly recommend this property to anyone who is truly looking for a relaxing, laid back vacation, with all the comforts of home at your fingertips. Thanks to the owners for sharing their beautiful home with all of us. We will definitely be returning!!

  7 members of my family spent 10 days over Christmas at Bella Sera and it was the most phenominal time we have ever had. This was our third Christmas vacation to the Virgin Islands and by far Bella Sera exceeded all of our expectations. Larry and Peggy meet us at the airport and welcomed us into their home and showed us how everything worked before departing. Pictures do not clearly show the beauty and unique characteristics of this lovley villa. The views are breathtaking. Listening to the waves crashing onto the rocks day or night makes you forget about anything else. Watching the sun rise over the ocean while sitting on the vernada is the only way to start the day. Every day my family used the pool,the hot tub and the water slide. This was one of the highlights of the villa. You could spend every day just around the pool, but exploring the rest of the island is also a must. We went out to Buck island and snorkeled the National Park reef, went scuba diving which was beyond any of the other islands we have visted. Larry recommeded several resteraunts and we tried almost all of them. I can honestly say each of the meals exceeded our expectations. The villa was exceptionally designed. The gourmet kitchen was fully equipped and a great place to enjoy family meals. Having the bedrooms seperated from the living area allowed everyone not be be disturbed either at night or in the morning. Larry and Peggy were always accessible and returned our calls immediately when we had a problem with the wireless network, which was a simple solution. The Christmas decorations, nativity scenes, trees and lights just added to the spendor of Bella Serra. We cannot thank them enough for this added touch. This Christmas will be remembered for a long time by my whole family.

  When we were shopping for a vacation rental on St Croix I could not believe my eyes when I came across the listing for Bella Sera. It was absolutely everything I was hoping to find! It was a little bit more money than I was planning to spend but when I saw the pictures of the rentals that were in my targeted price range they were so bare and just kind of sad, like an apartment that no one really bothered to furnish. This place was definitely worth the little bit extra. This is a home, not just a rental. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you might need to cook a tasty meal, and the owners don't mind if you use a bit of oil or spice from their supplies. The same goes in the bar where you will find quite a collection of bottles that I call "the ghost of vacations past" I know we left a few half full bottles of liquor to add to the collection. Not saying you should not buy your own, but if you need just a shot or two for a special recipe it's not a problem. From the moment we booked I began to get emails from the owner full of helpful information about where to eat, what to do, how to rent a car, and how to operate the amenities of the house like the waterfall and the hot tub. He also gave me a tip about a local grocery that will prestock the house with food and liquor before you arrive, which turned out to be a godsend when we arrived at 8:30 pm starving from a day spent hopping from plane to plane and eating airport sandwiches. We had a fabulous time laying our pale ohio winter skin out in the sun on the super comfy deck chairs, feeding the sugar birds on the breakfasting porch, and posting pictures of the house on facebook till our friends were sick of our boasting. You will LOVE staying here, but don't forget to leave once in awhile to explore the island! You must take a boat trip out to Buck Island, the reef is lovely and the beach out there is breathtaking. If you are up for an adventure take 63 around the west end of the island to Hams Bluff and check out the tide pools. When the big waves break against the rocks and your pulse starts to race you will know why it is worth the drive. (watch for hermit crabs, there were thousands of babies in all different shells if you stand still and look) This place was all it was advertised to be and more and I would recommend it without hesitation!

  Just returned after 10 day stay at this impressive villa. Met at airport by owners and oriented to villa and all the amenities. Very electronic friendly with high speed wi-fi accessible throughout property. Amazing audio/video set-up that can pipe music inside/out with custom volume controls. Includes 80 inch LCD with Netflix, Pandora, Sirius, DISH and more. Especially relaxing pool/spa/waterfall with large outdoor pavillion next to pool complete with wet bar and BBQ. Had visiting massage service in shade of pavillion with great music and sound of waves crashing on rocks below, amazing. Exceptional design, decor and furnishings including very well equipped gourmet kitchen. Stunning views, night and day, from nearly every step inside and out. MBR is a retreat within paradise. Owners were very accessible by phone and email with quick responses to any/all questions. This is an exceptional value when comparing amenities against cost and limitations of 3 hotel rooms. I recommend this experience highly. My wife and I along with 4 guests enjoyed every minute on the island, but found ourselves very happy to stay put at the villa many days. Snorkel trip to Buck Island is a must (Captain Westerman). Nearby restaurants were exceptional, especially South Shore Cafe and Galleons. A bit further to Savant's, but probably best dinner for the trip.

  This was our first trip to the Virgin Islands and this villa made our trip exceptional. The house is well-appointed and has every convenience. The cliffside views of the ocean are outstanding. There is a path on the property that gets you down to the water and we even snorkeled there! It is located in a very nice area of the island with easy access to food and shopping. The onsite pool and hot tub are wonderful for all ages (there is no "deep end" so this pool is great for families with younger children or less-experienced swimmers). The gourmet kitchen is a treat to work in. You can even see iguanas in the surrounding trees! The property is well-maintained and the owners are very accommodating and easy to contact with questions. Two thumbs up!

  Bella Sera is a gorgeous home nestled into the cliffs on the South East end of St. Croix. The breezes from the sea were just fantastic! Larry was very responsive and just a quick email away during our stay. We had some trouble with the TVs, but did not miss them at all. Larry was very helpful with fixing them. We just enjoyed the time sitting on the veranda, listening to the sea crashing on the rocks below and just catching up as a family. We started each morning with breakfast on the veranda. It was very nice to have the kitchen there to make meals. We cooked most meals at the house, which saved us money. The grocery stores were fairly close by and easy to get to. We were also able to pre-stock the villa, so that there was already some food in the house when we arrived. This worked out well because our flight arrived very late at night and we didn’t have to run to the store for food. The house is situated for easy access to Christiansted, shops and restaurants. The pool was great as a way to relax and cool down. My husband, sister and I all enjoyed the water slide. You're never too old to enjoy a water slide! The bedrooms were perfect to accommodate our family. It was nice that we all had our own room and bathroom. The property was well maintained and clean. We enjoyed exploring the beach below the house and watching the pelicans dive for food. Our friends and family can't believe the pictures that we took of the house and the view. It is truly a magnificent home. Overall, we had a great experience and would certainly recommend this home to others. Thank you Larry and Peggy for sharing your home with us!

  This is the perfect location for a family vacation. The house is immaculate, and every conceivable amenity is available. Larry and Peg could not have been more gracious and helpful. They even met us at the airport, showed us to the villa, and explained where everything was. If I had a question, I just emailed Larry, and I've have an answer in minutes. The kids were begging us to stay longer. There are a lot of great restaurants close by, and most are kid friendly. The views from the villa are simply amazing. We highly recommend Bella Sera, and can't wait to come back again.

  This was our second time to St Croix and our 7th stay at an ocean-side villa for Spring Break. We have stayed at a lot of lovely places and can say that Bella Sera is really exceptional. The house is beautiful, expansive, and well-appointed. The villa has everything you can possibly need, and cooks will be thrilled. You will find yourself living outside – the pool area and the balconies are set up so you can be comfortable reading, dining, or entertaining in various areas overlooking the stunning coastline. The light breezes off the water kept us comfortable outside all day. The pool, with the waterfall, the views from the spa, and the koi pond are even lovelier than they appear on the website. Bella Sera has a very private feel. There is one other villa in view but it is far enough away and was very quiet the entire time we were there. We enjoyed being able to walk with our 13 and 16 year olds down the path next to the house to snorkel in front of the villa. Younger kids can enjoy the pool and the wonderful beaches nearby. A couple minutes down the road will take you to a resort beach (Divi) or a quiet residential beach (Grapetree). With younger kids, you might prefer to stay somewhere with a sandy beach and a larger grassy area but I don’t think you will find anything close to as lovely, inside and out, as Bella Sera. The Meyers provided great information on dining and activities on the island. They were available to answer any questions we had. One thing that is really great about St Croix is that it is large and diverse enough that you can spend a week exploring it. You can enjoy the beaches of the West End, lunch at a beachside café, and then snorkel the pier at Frederickstadt. You can enjoy the surf and dive the wall at Cane Bay, then have lunch followed by a hike in the rain forest. For totally different terrain, you can drive to the easternmost part of the US and hike to the beach along a sandy, cactus-lined trail. On St Croix, every day you can find a new beach, a new place to snorkel, and a new place to dine.

The second villa that you see from Bella Sera is actually the first ocean front villa we built! - Paradise Point, but as you say, it is quite a distance away and the only villa in view. these are the only two villas on Grapetree Point We loved this area so much that when we decided to build a second one, it had to be right here on GrapeTree Point.
