Casa na Colina is a large deluxe villa in exclusive Carvoeiro Club, set in its own exclusive garden with lawns, palm trees and oranges and lemons too. On a hill, 15 minutes walk (two minutes drive) from picturesque Carvoeiro Village, it has glorious panoramic oceanviews.
Celeste, our kind and efficient housekeeper, comes for five hours on Monday to Friday, and four hours on Saturday. She cleans the house, makes the beds, washes the dishes and, on request, does personal laundry. Usually she will baby-sit too, if asked, but does expect some payment for baby-sitting.
The lounge, dining room, and kitchen are at the floor above ground-level to make the most of the views. Outside the lounge and dining room is a large shady terrace with a table and chairs for outside meals and a big cushioned seat for enjoying the views and dozing.
The 10 meter by 5 meter swimming pool (heating optional at extra cost) is surrounded by an ample sitting area with lots of sun loungers. There are gentle steps to the shallow end (80 cm) deep and a springboard at the deep end. A child's safety net is available.
