  This beach house is wonderful - great location on west beach (first neighborhood of beach houses) so is very convenient to all Galveston has to offer - restaurants, The Strand Historic District & shopping, Schlitterbahn, Pleasure Pier, Moody Gardens, etc. It is located at the end of the street on the very front row so it's like having your own "private" beach just steps away. The house is modern, clean, well maintained, and has every amenity possible including a big outdoor enclosed shower, huge deck that overlooks the beach, an ice making machine (no more lugging bags of ice from store), cable & DVD player, regular size washer & dryer, and every kitchen utensil and appliance imaginable. I will definitely recommend this beach house to family and friends!

  Our family, ages from 1 year to 77 years, has rented this immaculate property for the last 4 years. We plan to rent it every year as long as we live. We love it. The living area is huge which allows for eating and playing together. The upper deck is our favorite. A cool breeze is always there (even in July of this year) and the view spectacular. We sit on the deck sipping our tea and watching the older children making their sand castles, etc. It is so convenience for quick bathroom or snack trips from the beach.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway.

  We had our Family Reunion at "MARGARITAVILLE" in Sunny Beach and it was nothing less than SPECTACULAR! Which is a lot to say when you are talking about a Family Reunion - HA. The location cannot be beat, with it being the first set of beach houses west of the seawall, made it easy to get to the Seawall, Downtown, the Store, or anywhere you wanted to go. The view was fantastic (first row) and the accommodations were elegant, yet comfortable. When we arrived the house was all set up with the window shades open, soft music playing and the A/C set to a comfortable level, so it felt like we had already been there for awhile. Not the typical - let it air out, that some beach houses can have. I would highly recommend "Margaritavile" for anyone visiting Galveston - if for a weekend, a week or a Month. And the Internet and wireless connections made it easy the few times I had to check in with the office. And then when I was done doing business, it was just a few steps to the beach to spend quality time with the Family. This place is on our list every year. Book it early....this one will go fast.

  My family has stayed in Happy in Margaritavile for several years now. You can't beat the location on the beach. It's the last house on front row so not only do you have a great view of the beach in front of you you have a view up the beach to Galveston without neighbors. Happy in Margaritaville is very close to grocery shopping and within walking distance of the sea wall. There are no cars allowed on Sunny Beach so it's a great place for families with small children to relax without worries of traffic. The house is well equipped with cooking equipment and utensils. All you need to bring is sunscreen and a good book.

  Happy in Margaritaville is the understatement of the year. I have leased this house 3-4 times over the past few years. It is the perfect house for a quiet weekend away or a small party of friends. In 2008 I had planned to get married there. The grounds were beautiful and the perfect location to watch a full moon rise. Unfortunately, Ike blew in and changed everything. Since then the owner has rebuilt it and it is even better than before. I look forward to many more getaways.
