  My family stayed at Mana Kai for eight days and honestly could not have asked for a better vacation. Mana Kai resort is very well maintained, family oriented facility that was clean, quiet and had the most amazing view and beaches. We enjoyed snorkeling every morning right in front of the condo. The pictures are exactly what the condo looks like. It is clean with comfortable beds and we especially appreciated the privacy of the second bedroom. Tomoko's guide to local restaurants and shops is priceless! It is without hesitation that I would recommend this condo and plan on staying here again during our next stay in Maui.   We were very lucky to spend 2 weeks in room #405 at the Mana Kai. It was simply an amazing place to enjoy the beauty of Maui. Tomako and Keiko were excellent to coordinate with as we planned our family of 4 getaway. The condo was renovated, the views were awesome and it was sure nice to have the kids separated from us in the second bedroom. If sleeping to the sounds of waves crashing, swimming/snorkeling with turtles/ boogie boarding outside your doors appeals to you this is the place. We are already planning our trip back to the Mana Kai and hopefully Tomoko will open her doors to us again. Wonderful stay all around in every facet, top notch. Thanks!

  We loved this unit at the Mana Kai! Nicely decorated, with beautiful views of Keawakapu beach. The listing was accurate, in fact there were many more amenities available than stated. Tomoko was great and very responsive to our questions. The unit was very clean and trash chute was nearby. Washer and dryer was available near the elevator on the same floor, $3/load to wash and $3/load to dry. There is a drying rack on the lanai to dry towels and suits after a day out on the beach...so glad it was there we used it everyday! We rented it as a two bedroom/2 bath unit. The main unit faced Keawakapu beach and the lanai was large. You can't actually see the sun set from the lanai but you can watch the surf, beach activities and the weddings on the lawn (we saw 2 while we were there). The back unit had view of the ocean through a large window (which did not open), there were louvers on the sides of the large window that you could open, the room was never warm enough to need the AC. Ceiling fans throughout the condo if it got warm, but mostly didn't need them due to the trade winds which start daily around 11 am. Only downside was the internet connection was a bit tricky. We were able to get onto the internet but always had to go through a different units router. Also, had to log in each time you wanted to access the internet. Would be better if this unit had it's own service rather than using the service through the Mana Kai front desk. We have already recommended this unit to others and plan to stay here again.   What a wonderful 2 weeks we just spent in this great condo. Tomoko was so helpful and easy to work with and her go to person in Kihei (Gabby) was a phone call away if needed. It doesn't get better than Keawakapu Beach and staying at the Mana Kai and this condo is beautifully renovated with the most comfortable beds we've slept in away from home. It was also nice to have beach chairs, umbrella & small cooler available to use & the extras that most condos don't furnish like plenty of trash bags, laundry and dishwasher soap, etc. The most spectacular view from the lanai, great pool, best swimming & snorkeling & walking beach. Hope this turns into an annual trip for us. Thanks so much!

  Great experience at the Mana Kai! The owner was very conscientous and delivered all the necessary information time. Thoughtful enough to include her own word document of her personal recommendations for the Kihei / Wailea area. Wonderful unit and location - wouldn't hesitate to return!

  This newly renovated condo has a fabulous location bordering South Kihei & Wailea. It is situated on a quiet beach with a reef right out the door that is great for snorkelling & swimming with the turtles. The view from the lanai was stunning for sunset & whale watching and the sound of crashing waves was amazing. The condo was completely outfitted, clean, tastefully decorated yet totally comfortable. The owner was very helpful and attentive to any questions & concerns. We would love to return for another stay!

  You can't go wrong with this place. The location is awesome, right on Kiawekapu beach. The sound of the surf in the front unit is amazing! The unit is very nicely remodeled, and very clean, and is very well equiped. The price was one of the lowest I found for the Mana Kai, the owner is a pleasure to work with and I would recommend this place to anyone. The surrounding area has everything you could possibly want without traveling very far. Thank you for a wonderful stay! PS- If you like lobster, Betty's Beach Cafe in Lahaina, Wednesdays $13.95, awesome!

  This condo is in a very nicely kept facility & on a terrific beach. The ocean front view is lovely. There's a great restaurant & convenience store/deli to make your day easy. We were the first to enjoy the new renovation & everything was very clean & well kept. The owner provided several pages of recommendations for grocery shopping, restaurants, etc.that were most helpful. We enjoyed 8 days here & would definitely come again.

  This place was everything we expected and more. We have stayed on many different islands and at different locations on Maui and view from the unit and access to the beach was the best we've ever experienced. The second bedroom is designed as a separate hotel unit and affords a great deal of privacy for two couples, or a family with children. The owner is very accommodating and provides her own travel guide with great advice on local restaurants. It's great to be able to sit on the lawn and be so close to the ocean. There is a natural reef with great snorkeling and a sandy beach with easy access for swimming all steps from your door. There are also miles of beach for running or walking. This is definitely our new favorite place to stay on Maui.
