You have found the ultimate place for a wonderful, relaxing vacation! Located in Sanibel Harbour Resort, our 1,603 square foot luxury second floor condominium has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It is equipped with everything you need to enjoy your vacation. The extra-large private lanai wraps around two sides of the unit and offers beautiful views of the bay and Sanibel and Captiva Islands. There is a breathtaking sunset every night. At dusk, watch for manatees, dolphins and other wildlife right from the lanai. The condo is our second home, and we want our guests to enjoy our fabulous retreat as much as we do!
As you walk in the door of the unit, the first thing you will see is the gorgeous view through the floor to ceiling sliding glass doors to the lanai. You will spend many relaxing mornings on the lanai with your coffee, and many relaxing evenings with your favorite evening cocktail. The kitchen and living area are combined into one large room with views all around. The kitchen was completely remodeled in fall of 2007 and is fully equipped with all large appliances, coffeepot, blender, toaster, dishes, and the like. There is also a full size washer and dryer for your use. The living area has a pull-out couch that sleeps two, a loveseat, tv, dvd, vcr, and stereo/cd player. You will find family games and area brochures in the coffee table. The unit has wireless high speed DSL internet available at no extra cost.
The master bedroom comes equipped with a king size bed, private bath, private entrance to the lanai, tv, stereo/cd player, and alarm clock. The second bedroom has two twin beds (that can be pushed together), tv, and alarm clock. Both bedrooms have plenty of closet and drawer space for you to unpack your swimsuits! The guest bedroom closet also holds an iron and ironing board, and a portable crib. If you plan to make a day on Sanibel at the beach, you will also find some folding chairs in the closet.
Sanibel Harbour Resort and Spa offers the best of Sanibel Island without all the congestion and traffic. Situated on a private peninsula, the Resort is set on 100 lush, tropical acres of unspoiled San Carlos Bay waterfront, just off the Gulf of Mexico. Make sure to go to the Courtside every Wednesday night for Crab Races! You can catch your favorite NFL, NBA, NHL or other game there anytime on one of the many televisions.

My name is Shannon. I live in Hudson, WI. We purchased our condo back in 2002 as an investment and a future retirement spot. Of course, we enjoy getting down to the condo as much as possible in the winter months! I am the mother of a 17 year old daughter and have been married to my husband for 25 years. In addition to managing my rental business, I design and program websites.
Why the Owner Chose Other Sanibel Island Properties
My condo is right before you cross the bridge to Sanibel Island, not on the Island itself. You just have to cross the bridge to get to Sanibel. BUT, I feel this is a much better location. Before we bought our unit, we stayed at a number of different resorts on the island. You really feel like you are kind of stuck out there. Groceries cost way more than they should, and traffic is terrible. Most of the resorts have beach access, but the beach is actually a bit of a walk and the resorts we stayed it did not provide beach chairs. My resort has the beach just out the door (with lounge chairs), and you can see it from the lanai. I love to sit on the lanai and watch the boats and the dolphins. I am in the “middle” of everything. I can go to Sanibel and see what there is to see if I want, or I can go to Fort Myers Beach and check out the sites there. Sanibel and Fort Myers Beach are very different. Sanibel is very quiet – most places are closed by 9 or 10 at night, and there is really no where to eat right on the beach. Fort Myers Beach has lots of shopping and bars and restaurants right on the beach. There is usually some sort of street show in the square. It’s a lot more active. Also, if you don’t feel like doing anything at all, you can just hang at the resort and have everything you need. There are restaurants and bars. The pools all have beach/water views. It is a first class resort and the nicest in the area. There is also a Publix grocery store and outlet mall just two miles away. After years of experience with the area, we decided we did not want to buy anything right on the island and fell in love with our resort.
Of course this is just my opinion. But, I have had many previous guests think they would rather be on the island that found that they absolutely loved my resort and my condo. Many have been repeat guests.

This is just the most relaxing and luxurious place to stay! Every guest I have had over the years loves it. I get many repeat guests.

Shannon - - I just wanted to let you know that my family and I (Dan and two teenage girls) had a great time at your beautiful condo. The location couldn’t be better and the condo was equipped with everything we needed. The girls slept in every morning, while Dan and I explored the premises. It was a huge cost-saver to be able to have breakfast and lunch in the condo each morning and afternoon. For dinner, we explored the area.

Shannon - We had a wonderful vacation and enjoyed your spacious, comfortable, well-furnished condo. We spent a great deal of time on the wrap-around, screened-in lanai and loved watching the dolphins in the bay. It was also fun to sit on the beach and walk along the water observing the birds, fish, and boats. We also took advantage of biking in the bicycle lanes around Ft. Myers, and the restaurants and bars on the property. It truly is a lovely setting and condo, and we had a wonderful time!

This was our second stay at the condo at Sanibel Harbour and it's amazing how it felt like we were coming home again. The condo itself is so welcoming and the view can't even be described with words it is so beautiful. The hard part was trying to fit everything that we wanted to do into just one week. There is so much to do at the resort itself but it is so close to Sanibel Island and Fort Myers and all that they have to offer. We were already talking about going back next year on our way to the airport.

Hi Shannon, We had a great time in your condo with our dear friends from Oct 17-24, 2009. You had everything we needed and then some. Although we started with a couple of cold days, it turned nice and sunny by Monday. Only one dolphin sighting but it was close to shore. Our two fancy meals were at Sanibel Steakhouse and the Lighthouse..the latter was our favorite! We ordered in pizza and Chinese and it came rather quickly. Our day shelling at Bowman's Beach on Sanibel was absolutely great. The views from your lanai are gorgeous! We had the condo pool to ourselves most of the time and that was very relaxing. The people in the resort were very nice. Thank you for sharing your condo. We will definitely go down again.

Dear Shannon: We had a wonderful time. Your Condo is lovely. Very comfortable and what a fantastic spot. The view is great and it is so close to the fabulous resort and many restaurants and shopping. My daughter enjoyed the outlets. It was kid friendly as well. My grandchildren Liam 4 yrs and Caylee 2 1/2 yr had a ball. We all went on the sunset cruise which was very nice. We ended our vacation with a birthday dinner for my son and grandson at the Bubble Room. Many good memories were made. Hope to return next year.

Hello Shannon, Ray and i and the boys (20 and 23yrs old) have just had the most wonderful time staying in your beautiful condo. We must be on our 4th year now and we love the Sanibel resort more and more each time. The weather was fantastic, some thunderstorms as usual. Sanibel offers something for all of us. Ray loves the fishing, the boys love to go to the spa and play tennis every other day, then fish or relax by the pool. I love to relax and read. We all love to shop, especially at the Miromar outlets also Coconut Point. We all love to eat at Rib City and then pop into Perkins to buy a lemon pie. For 15 years I've been searching for the perfect place around Sanibel. This time I believe we've found it. This condo is absolutely beautiful, very clean, and the view is spectacular. An unexpected suprise is the comfortable bed, and of course the view has to be seen to be believed. The lanai is large with comfortable furniture to sit out and relax. Shannon, Our family wants to thank you for a wonderful time had by all at your condo and the surrounding area. Everything was beautiful and it was the vacation we needed in order to energize ourselves for what waited for us back home. Kevin is starting a new Urgent Care practice and the refreshing time we had at your Sanibel Condo helped us tremendously! We loved how close you are to the Twins training camp, the Sanibel and Captiva Islands, and all the fun shops.
