About the owner: Sally is an avid outdoors person who lives full time in Sonoma California. She has been in the hospitality business for over 25 years and has two vacation properties, one in Sonoma and one in Squaw Valley.
Why the Owner Chose Squaw Valley (Olympic Valley): I have always loved the mountains since living outside Denver Colorado as a young girl. I currently live in wine country Sonoma California and this is an easy 3 hour drive for me. This home and it's amazing location are truly one of a kind and I hope you'll agree with me after visiting.
The Unique Benefits at this House: I fell in love with this home at first sight when looking for a unique property somewhere in the Tahoe area. With it's location overlooking the Truckee River and a short bike or car ride to the lake or world famous Squaw Valley Ski Resort I couldn't resist. Not hard to fall in love with the unique furnishings gathered from the previous owner's travels to Italy and their love of Tahoe's past & present. Adding my own touches the house has been described by others as a combination of an Italian villa mixed with a classic European hunting lodge. I know you'll agree it's one of the most unique properties you will every see. The view from the hot tub to the Olympic Torch from 1960's Winter Olympics this is a home not to miss. A true Tahoe treasure!
