Peñiscola is located on an amazing cliff, which allows an incredible 200-angle ocean view and the comfort of a beachfront property.
Around this magical landscape there are plenty of perfect waves to surf, or simply relax by taking a beautiful long swim at the ocean.

You can begin your day at the beach, then venture out for some mid day exploration to the volcanoes, Mayan ruins, rain forest, mountains, lakes, rivers, cities etc. and still be back at the beach for a sunset surf session or refreshment before dinner.

Peniscola is a truely lovely corner of the world. This house sits on bluff just above the beach, with stunning views that allowed us to watch both sunrise ant sunsets over the ocean (I'm guessing only Nov-Feb). The house is very well maintained, the staff are lovely and very attentive to everything and anything we needed, and the cook was awesome. There are two houses on the property, the main house sits on top of the property and has an open air salon with lovely views. The second house sits below, next to the pool, and has two additional bedrooms, the kitchen and dining area. This suited us perfectly as our teenagers could enjoy some separation!. The rooms are airy and comfortable, especially the master bedroom. The best thing about this house is the location, a simply fantastic spot, with the most amazing views of the beach and Pacific. It is El salvador at its best.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This was our 2nd visit to El Salvador to visit my husbands family. Last visit, we stayed in a hotel and toured the country in a guided van with as many family members that could come. It was hectic and hard to coordinate everything. During this 2nd visit we were looking for a way to relax and enjoy the family. This 5 bedroom house was a great way for the family to stay with us. The best part was the on site chef was amazing and preparing food for 4 up to a group of 12. The property location is AMAZING. THe pictures do not do it justice. We loved the open living room space with TV, seating and 3 hammocks. The pool was perfect to cool off mid-day when you didnt want to walk down to the secluded beach with a private enterance. My husband enjoyed surf fishing on the beach. The locals sold us lobster they caught during the day which made our dinners amazing. The onsite service provided us access to private surf lessons for only $25 for the hours - this was fun for many family members are participate in for the first time. The master bedroom is the best. The other 4 bedrooms are more basic - but perfect for our situation. We plan on coming back to El Salvador - and this property will be visited again. It is a guaranteed good time, great place to relax, and just plain beautiful. Dont hesitate to book this place. You will LOVE IT!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

The Place was better than the pictures, I felt very lucky to have stayed in such a beautiful and well taken care of house.. The staff was great, very attentive to everything and anything we needed, the cook was awesome. The house is European Style with details that date back to colonial times. One of the biggest decisions we had to face on a daily basis was either to enjoy the pool or the beach; which was private, clean and with rare black volcanic sand that is soft and shines in the sun like if it has diamond particles on it. The rooms are big airy and comfortable, I definetly recommend this house, not only is it architecturally beautiful but is on the greatest spot, with the most amazing views of the pacific, it is El salvador at its best.Did you find this review helpful? I lived in El Salvador for 4 years and have continued to visit the country every few years for the last 15 years. I've traveled all over and stayed in many different locations. El Peniscola is one of the best places to take your family for the price. It is comfortable, the accommodations are great, the staff is friendly and reliable, and it is a fun and secure place to stay for the whole family or a group of friends. Marisa bent over backwards to make our vacation fun and comfortable. She arranged for a van and driver. She also provided a nanny to watch our two small children so that we could enjoy being together as a family and also have the ability to get away during nap time or in the evenings. It was one of the most memorable family vacations we have ever had.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing.

I have lived in El Salvador for almost 2 years and have taken almost all of my visitors to this beach house. It is a great way to show off El Salvador; a really amazing place. The house is spacious and has two sections of bedrooms so depending on the group you bring, you can create a lot of privacy that way. My favorite places are the pool - at night you can see the stars while taking a dip in the pool, the hammocks outside the upper bedrooms with an amazing ocean view, and the balcony that hangs over the waves crashing. I did yoga out there a couple of times, staring at the waves, and it was amazing. I just hope I get to go back a few times before we leave El Salvador.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

The house was done in a colonial Spanish style that overlooks a wonderful beach that makes for amazing sunsets and beautiful nights. This place is very relaxing for meditation and stress-relief purposes. It's secure, reliable, and by far one of the most isolated black sand beaches I've ever experienced. The beach alone is worth 5 stars. Im not sure you can find a better beach house in el Salvador, but it will be hard to beat. I would utilize the trained staff while visiting, they are friendly and accomplish most of the tasks that are given. It is isolated, so make sure you bring a car rental or driver. Would be my ideal place to stay for a vacation in el Salvador.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing.

I spent a very good time in that beautiful house. The location is amazing, the house is peacefull, and has a very unique charm. There is a big garden, many rooms, its clean, a pool and a direct access to the beach. There are a lots of activies in a close area. I absolutely advise that vacation spot!Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, pet owners, families with young children, tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing.

The pictures don't do justice to this gorgeous house, which we have rented with friends and family three times now. It sits on a cliff overlooking a beach shared with a few other houses, the waves and sun and breeze are perfect, you can walk a few minutes to tasty beach-side restaurants at El Zonte (which is perfectly tranquil and safe), the staff will shop for you and clean up after you cook. It's our favorite place to go in El Salvador!Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, pet owners, families with young children, girls getaway.

I went to Peniscola Villa last March and I do have to say that this place is breathtaking. This place has everything beautiful views, great food, private beach, pool and a comfortable atmosphere. I would absolutely recommend Peniscola Villa.
