We stayed here at the end of January and loved being in the snow. It wasn't too cold, and we enjoyed a beautiful hike to Tubb's Hill, a walk along the lake close to the loft, and also felt it was an easy walk to the downtown area. We loved the coziness of the loft and watching a gentle snow fall from the front windows. There is a lot of light in the loft, the living space is very warm and inviting, and the bed is super comfortable. Loft is super clean, beautifully decorated in the rustic style. We had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. We can't wait for our next visit!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+.

My wife and I took our two teens to Coeur D'Alene for a 5-day Labor Day vacation. We stayed in the Loft and it was perfect! It was built just 4 years ago and still feels brand new. It's tastefully decorated and the natural wood, high ceilings, and numerous windows give it an open, roomy feel. The kitchen area has everything you need including plenty of dishes and utensils. The owners are extremely friendly and accomodating. We will definitely come back again!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, pet owners, families with teenagers, age 55+.

This is an immaculate, quiet, well appointed apartment close enough, but away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. The decor fits the Idaho location, and it is comfortable with a nice ambience. The appliances are new and everything works. While there were only the two of us, the loft would be great for other guests or kids. We're not sure when we will be in the area again, but this place is on our list!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

The Loft was perfect and met all our needs. It is very clean, comfortable, private and has lots of character. Our children loved the upstairs area and did not want to leave. We felt very safe and loved the fact you can walk or ride bikes to all the local attractions. Jodi was very accomodating and hospitable. We were able to park our boat on the street and store our bikes in the garage. We are all looking forward to a return trip.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

My family and I loved this loft! It was a wonderful experience from start to finish, from booking, to receiving tips on sites, activities and restaurants in the area (always appreciated) and through checkout. The loft is really cozy with great details and craftmanship. It is also extremely clean and well maintained with a fully equiped kitchen. The property has a good location close to the beach and to town. We would definitely recommend to family and friends. Whenever we return to CDA we will definitely go back!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers.

Very glad we stayed here versus the other places in town. The loft exceeded our expectations. Pros... very clean, good location, kids loved the upstairs, had every thing we needed, great price, close to silverwood themepark and the owners were helpful in letting us know all the the different things to do in idaho. Cons...no washer and dryer. We plan on coming back and renting again on our next trip to idaho. :)Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

We just recently returned from a five day vacation in the loft and had a wonderful experience. Centrally located in a neighbourhood only minutes away from Sanders beach, Tubbs Hill, and downtown, the loft provided a great base from which to explore the city. The unit was also in great condition and really felt like a 'home away from home.'. It has everything you need and the Owner was fantastic, providing us with any number of recommendations on how to enjoy everything the area has to offer. I would definitely recommend this property and hope you enjoy your experience as much as we did.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children.

GREAT PLACE FOR IRONMAN CDA

This place was ideal for Ironman CDA. Not only is it near the run and bike course, it's situated close enough to race headquarters but far enough away to avoid road closures on race day. The accomodations were ideal and suited us perfectly. You could easily fit 4 more folks in this cabin. It was quiet, safe and right near the trails that run along the lake. If you love exercising this was the ideal location.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, sightseeing.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 1989
About the owner: We are long time residents of Coeur d' Alene and have such passion for the lake and mountains. We bought our house over 20 years ago and have remodeling ever since. Built in 1942 we had some work ahead us and just finished a year ago. The home when we bought it was a colonial looking old style home. With our love for the outdoors we have turned it into a lodge , rustic feel decor. With this we added our loft , 4 years ago. Glenn is a Deputy Fire Chief at the CDA Fire Department has been in the fire service for over 30 years. We own a 35 ft. houseboat and jet ski on Lake CDA. We love hiking, camping, family and friends and meeting new people from different areas. We invite you to come and experience North Idaho.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
We are centrally located. Close to everything. No driving needed to get to the Bike path, Tubbs Hill , downtown and the lake. The CDA Resort Golf Course and floating green is 3 blocks from us. Our loft is a peaceful retreat where one can kick back and relax or engage in all CDA has to offer.
The loft is a an indoor space where one feels the warmth of log wood accents and lots of natural light. The decor is fun, comfortable and cozy. Come and experience it!
