This wonderful house is your home away from home. Spacious rooms and open floor plan with paradise backyard containing beautiful pool with waterfall decoration, 8+ person tiki bar, and privacy landscaping and waterfront canal will make you want to stay home all day and play.
Two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a futon in the back den, and a pull-out sofa in the living room make this home a comfortable stay for up to six guests. Both bedrooms have queen beds, dressers, and closet space. The master has a private full bathroom. There is a pack and play in the garage if needed. The living and dining rooms and a fully appointed kitchen provide everything for home dining. The backyard deck with a propane grill, large tiki bar, and private pool with waterfall decoration allow you to live outside all day, if you wish.
If your interests are more exploring and taking in the sights and sounds of Ft. Lauderdale, the house is located a short drive or cab ride from all the activity. Lauderdale-by-the-sea has many great restaurants such as Aruba on the beach with live weekend music and Village Pump with its New England vibe for games, dinner, and drinks.
Ft. Lauderdale beach offers beach-front dining and drinks, shopping, people watching, and large sidewalks for walking or running. Las Olas is the fine-dining, upscale shopping and restaurant section of town. Downtown offers historic background, a low-key restaurant and bar selection, and late-night bars and entertainment. All are located a short drive away.
Our house is located in a great quiet neighborhood right in the heart of Ft Lauderdale. You are close to the beaches, shopping, and restaurants. The house is fully air conditioned and has a washer and dryer in the garage.

About the owner: My husband and I loved living in this home since purchased in 2001. However, a new job brought us back to his home of Boston. We can't part with this house and love being able to share all of the fun and relaxing times in the backyard with other folks and families making their own memories. We hope you love this house as much as we do. We think you will!
Why the Owner Chose Other Fort Lauderdale Properties:
We love the location of this house being close to the action of Ft. Lauderdale but with a residential and safe feel. The neighborhood streets are great for walking or jogging. Many of the neighbors have owned their homes for a long time and have become good friends. There is easy access to beaches, restaurants, and on-and-off the highway.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
The living room offers great views of the backyard with large sliding doors for access. The backyard is our favorite spot with a tiki bar we had built that seats 8+ people and has its own stereo and lights. The pool was redone in 2005 with tile edging, a waterfall accent, and a paver patio. There is so much to do in the local area, but we have always found our best times to be here at the house in the backyard. After living in the area so long, we can provide recommendations for basically any activity that you are interested in. Please let us know and we will provide you with as much detail as possible!
