  Amazing !!! This mountain home is all you could ask for, all the the comforts of home. The Pictures inside or outside to not do the home justice, you have to see to believe. Very clean and cared for with love. I am scared to say how wonderful the home and experience was because next time I want t go it may be booked. We had a wonderful relaxing time. I think I could just sit and look @ the views all day. (OH !! BUT I DID) It snowed and we were not worried about getting snowed in, we said we had food and the views we were set. The snow melted and we did not have a good excuse to miss work so we came home. Just praying it is available when we want to go back. Thanks for letting us share your home.

  We selected this house for our family Thanksgiving gathering and what a great choice we made! It was the perfect place for our holiday celebration! Cozy and comfortable with plenty to see and do.

  What a wonderful retreat! The house is wonderful, incredibly well equipped, and the views are spectacular. It's hard to describe how quiet things are here. You can't see any of the neighbors, nor can you hear them. What you CAN see is an incredible vista across the mountains. The house is well outfitted for a family or a group of friends. We enjoyed exploring the surrounding areas, but mostly enjoyed sitting and dining on the deck overlooking the mountains. The house is definitely "off the beaten path", and you're rewarded with beautiful views, great accommodations, and absolute quiet. We are already trying to figure out when we can return!

  This is a charming and lovely property that exceeds the information stated in the listing. The home is spacious, warm, welcoming and IMMACULATE !! The view is amazing and the peace and quiet renew your spirit. It was centrally located for our vacation purposes and we were able to access Asheville, Lake Lure, Flat Rock, Black Mountain, Hendersonville. It involved some driving but the scenery while driving was an experience itself. The owner was delightful and we so enjoyed her artwork in the home. We highly recommend this property and thank the family for sharing it.

  Just back from a fabulous visit to this property. Immaculately clean upon arrival. Beautiful and comfortable, exceeded expectations. Extremely well-appointed. Exceptionally well-stocked, if you forgot some essential, it's probably there, just replace what you use up. Within an hours drive of a seemingly endless variety of attractions. Stayed for a week, and still much left to see. We visited Blue Ridge Parkway (Craggy Gardens), Folk Art Center, Chimney Rock, Asheville, Hendersonville, Pearson's Falls (near Saluda) and more. Hope for a return visit.

  My family and I rent a cabin in the mountains every year for Christmas and this year was definitely the best place we have ever stayed. The views were beautiful. The house was warm and cozy and decorated for Christmas when we arrived. We have made so many wonderful memories this Christmas, we can't wait to go back next year.

  We stayed at this cabin over Thanksgiving weekend, and had a wonderful time. The cabin is fairly new, very clean, and very well equipped. The cabin is spacious and nicely decorated. Chimney Rock is only15 - 20 min away. Compared to many of the cabins in the Chimney Rock area, this place provides solitude and scenic views, a definite plus in our book. The view of the stars at night was incredible.

  This beautiful home provided my family a safe haven for a much needed break. The views are incredible. Barbara was a dream to work with. The photos are accurate, but you really need to see this place to fully appreciate it. We enjoyed it so much we have planned another trip for next month.

  This house was so comfortable and the view from the porch is absolutely amazing. Everybody had a great time here, including kids and grandparents. It was a pleasure to work with Barbara and we sure appreciate that she is sharing this wonderful home so that others can enjoy it. This was a great place to stay and I hope that we can return some day!

  This is a beautiful home with exquisite views of the mountains. If you want peace and quiet and a lovely place to stay, Bear-Trac fits the bill. We look forward to returning to Bear-Trac.
