My family and I rent a cabin in the mountains every year for Christmas and this year was definitely the best place we have ever stayed. The views were beautiful. The house was warm and cozy and decorated for Christmas when we arrived. We have made so many wonderful memories this Christmas, we can't wait to go back next year.

Relaxing Retreat

This beautiful home provided my family a safe haven for a much needed break. The views are incredible. Barbara was a dream to work with. The photos are accurate, but you really need to see this place to fully appreciate it. We enjoyed it so much we have planned another trip for next month.

Great Time at Thanksgiving

We stayed at this cabin over Thanksgiving weekend, and had a wonderful time. The cabin is fairly new, very clean, and very well equipped. The cabin is spacious and nicely decorated. Chimney Rock is only15 - 20 min away. Compared to many of the cabins in the Chimney Rock area, this place provides solitude and scenic views, a definite plus in our book. The view of the stars at night was incredible.

This house was so comfortable and the view from the porch is absolutely amazing. Everybody had a great time here, including kids and grandparents. It was a pleasure to work with Barbara and we sure appreciate that she is sharing this wonderful home so that others can enjoy it. This was a great place to stay and I hope that we can return some day!

This is a beautiful home with exquisite views of the mountains. If you want peace and quiet and a lovely place to stay, Bear-Trac fits the bill. We look forward to returning to Bear-Trac.

This cabin was a wonderfully comfortable and clean home base for our daily excursions in the Asheville area. Everyone in the family (from age 4 to 70) was very pleased with the accommodations during our week's stay. The misty morning mountain view was worth every penny!

Even for the "dead of winter," this was the perfect post-holiday getaway. The cabin was tucked away where peace & quiet was everywhere, all of the time. It was both immaculately clean and welcoming like a home away from home. The great room, gas fireplace & deck with mountain views were perfect for morning coffee all the way through evening wine. Both of our dogs loved the great room overlook via the upstairs railing. Thanks for stocking the home with all of its amenities. This is a great, comfortable place for family, friends & dogs as well! Thank you, thank you, thank you.

The house was way above my expectations. The kitchen was very well equipped and convenient for a crowd. I enjoyed the sunrise every monring from the screened porch off the master bedroom. I would definitely return.

We had a wonderful time. The house and views are great. We loved the quiet, secluded location high on the mountain. Never needed heat or air even in May. I highly recommend this one.

This house was even better than expected. The views were awesome and we enjoyed Barbara's paintings! It is centrally located and we hope to come back another time. Really loved all the bathrooms-no waiting in line! We had a wonderful time and look forward to coming back.

What can we say! This cabin is gorgeous! We loved sitting in the deck at night while drinking our champagne...so romantic. The decor is beautiful and the cabin very clean. The view is fantastic! We have stayed in several cabins over the past few years, but This was definitely the nicest cabin we've ever rented! The cabin and view were exactly the way we pictured it from the internet, plus a whole lot more. The view from the living room was breathtaking and we just loved sitting beside the fireplace looking out at the mountains. You need to stay here and experience it yourself! Thanks for a wonderful stay. We will be back!

If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing get away this is it. This is definitely a home away from home. My wife, 2 kids and dog had such a great time we had to stay 2 more days! Thank you Barbara and God Bless.

Your house is beautiful. The views are breathtaking. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and listening to the birds. We took many walks around the neighborhood. We saw deer running through the woods. There was so much to see and do. This was a wonderful getaway for our family. We don't want to leave.

Great getaway. Just like home only better. Many interesting place within 30 minutes or less, as well as the "Great outdoors" right at your feet. A must stay for a return trip. March 20-26 2004.
