Beautiful new waterfront home available for a luxurious getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Unlike many of the homes in the area, this home is located off the highway.

It offers peace and tranquility, where you can enjoy views of the large deep water cove from many rooms in the house or while relaxing on the covered and open decks. Watching the wildlife or walking down to the oyster beach are additional options for spending your time in paradise, right there at the home.

There is also plenty of adventure available. This refuge is about midway between Hoodsport and Brinnon, with ready access to scenic hiking trails, rock climbing, scuba diving, shellfishing, and kayaking. The rental comes with two adult size and two child size kayaks -- everything you need to enjoy both the cove and Hood Canal!

Built in 2009, the home is filled with first class finishes -- a granite and stainless kitchen; walnut hardwood floors, and natural stone baths, the master with a large jetted tub and a two spray shower; and much more.

Three bedrooms are available. The master suite offers a king size poster bed with a exquisite attached bath. The remaining bedrooms offer a queen size bed, and twin bunk beds, for a total of six potential travelers sleeping in the home.

This is just a sampling of all the home has to offer. We welcome any additional questions you may have. Additional pictures available upon request.

Six of us stayed 5 nights in this home. It was absolutely perfect for us! I wouldn't have changed a single thing! The home is beautiful, comfortable and completely functional. The location is gorgeous and perfect for exploring the Olympic Peninsula. We used the kayaks a couple of times - great fun! We went to the Forks/La Push area one day (to appease our Twilight-obsessed wives!) - definitely worth the beautiful drive. We hit the lavendar fields in Sequim and Hurricane Ridge (my favorite!) on another. We day tripped to Seattle for my daughter's birthday and visited with friends at Alderbrook Resort in Union on the other. I cannot recommend this home enough. The cost was certainly reasonable. The owner was very helpful and accomodating. If you're in the area, book it!

My family and I stayed here over a weekend with some friends and had a wonderful time. We often rent vacation homes and were very impressed by the design of the home, its amenities and the surrounding environment. We were a group of six adults and greatly enjoyed the living room and outside deck spaces -they were spacious and provided a great place for spending time as a group. We used all three bedrooms and found them all to be very comfortable and clean. The bathrooms were also very nice. We cooked several meals during our stay and were very impressed with how many appliances were available. It is unusual to find such an array of quality kitchen items in a rental home. We also loved the surroundings of the home -we spent a lot of time admiring the view from the deck and using the kayaks. The great hike to Lena Lake was also very easy to get to from the home. Lastly, the property owner was responsive and easy to deal with. I would highly recommend this home to a family or small group looking for a peaceful and relaxing vacation. I would love to come back!

We loved our stay at this home! The most memorable aspect was the two rear decks where we spent everyday watching the bald eagles and ospreys swooping around the bay and perching on the backyard trees. The house itself was well appointed with all the necessities for preparing a meal. Moreover, the space was perfect for our group of six consisting of two couples and two young adults. The description of the property location was not quite accurate. It is closer to the town of Eldon rather than Lilliwaup. However, we fully appreciated the peace and quiet of being on the Olympic peninsula side of the Hood Canal rather than the Kitsap side.

Wonderful! Absolutely one of my best weekend getaways. The house, down to the floors, of which are gorgeous, provides all the luxuries one could ask for: full kitchen, master bedroom, jacuzzi tub, and all the freshest oysters you can stomach within a stones throw. There is nothing to question-pick this house and enjoy yourself, and leave booking your return trip as soon as you get home. I did!

My family of 4 stayed here last weekend and we're definitely planning on returning next summer - perhaps when the grandparents are visiting from out of state. Like another reviewer said, the house is even more gorgeous in person than what the photos portray. The kitchen is well-stocked with quality items - not your typical vacation rental home full of cast-offs. The towels are thick and luxurious. Everything was spotless. My kids were thrilled with the bunkbeds. The outdoor decks are spacious and the views of the mature trees and water off the decks was beautiful and relaxing. There are eagles that perch in a tree right there on the beach! We didn't kayak this time but regretted not being prepared to do so - there were other kayakers out on the canal over the weekend. Overall, this is a great vacation spot and it is on the sunny side of Hood Canal which is a plus.

WOW! That was what we all said when we stepped inside this home - it is so wonderfully decorated and built - you will love it. The 2 decks, one covered, and one not are wonderful. The kayaking was so much fun! We got oysters from the beach in front of the house and enjoyed our coffee on the deck. We went with our 10 month old and another couple and their 5 and 6 year old and this home was perfect for all of us. If you are looking for a great getaway spot and a home that has everything you could want and more, this is the spot. We cooked some great dinners in this amazing kitchen too. We hope to stay again soon!

This house has been newly built and not being used much. Our family walked through the front door on the first day and immediately felt it like our own house: modern, warm, and cozy. The house was nicely designed and built, and the quality of the materials, hardware, appliances, and workmanship is excellent. This house looks like one I would build myself on this kind of landscape. The combination of the living room, kitchen and dinner areas makes it very spacious and the people inside it well connected. The two decks have both advantages, the covered one when you need a little shelter from the sun or the rain, the open one when you want to enjoy the sun, the fantastic scenery and the water down in front of you. The yards are spacious with trees and brushes that make it so natural. There are so many things you would enjoy in and on this place, you must be there yourself!

Some friends and I recently spent the weekend this beautiful vacation home and had a wonderful time. The house is even nicer in person than the photos portray! The kitchen is really open so it makes it really easy to prepare food while socializing. The house was really clean and updated. The house was well stocked w/ cookware, kitchen essentials and towels/bedding. The deck offered a beautiful view of the water, and had water access to gather oysters or go kayaking. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathrooms were clean and spacious. I would definitley recommend this vacation rental and would definitely stay here again. The owner is very responsive to all emails and easy to communicate with.

We loved staying at this 1 year old home; everything is spotless and the beds are so cozy. The homeowners provided chopped wood for the fireplace and charcoal for the grill. We kayaked around the cove and out into Hool Canal, where a seal followed us on our trip -- my kids were thrilled! What a gorgeous getaway, not too far from civilization. We're definitely coming back!

                  Why the Owner Chose Lilliwaup:
We visited Hood Canal on a weekend in 2005 and fell in love with the area's rich outdoor activities and hometown feel. We were also lucky enough to view some orcas swimming though that day, and regularly have the opportunity to delight in watching the seals and eagles, along with a variety of other wildlife. And you can't beat the fresh seafood!

The Unique Benefits at this House:
There are so many activities from which to choose, but we particularly enjoy hiking the trail up to gorgeous Lena Lake and kayaking into the cove from our backyard and on into the canal. We also look forward to excellent finds at the cute shops and the winery in Hoodsport.
