house and the pictures are deceiving, we just purchased the house spring of '05 and completed quite an overhaul in 2006. We continue to renovate through 2011 in the off season for the improved comfort and enjoyment of our tenants. This is the a great vacation beach house for those looking to be close to the water. This property is 1 block from the beach (there is only one house on the first block) see a peek of the ocean from the new second floor deck. There are some great options if you family is 6-10 people too (at reduced rates). Please send a quick email and we can provide a rate within 10 minutes. For extended families the house provides privacy for everyone. There is a 3 season sun porch that runs the width of the house. The porch is perfect for those who don't want to be on the beach a long time. Sit and listen to the ocean and enjoy the breeze.The house is very sunny with hardwood floors, there is a very expansive floor plan with 25' living room (two queen sleepers and entertainment center) and is open to dining room, The first floor has one bedroom w/queen, another a king (or 2 twins) and the last 2 twins and also 2 full baths (one new); the second floor has a 2nd party kitchen, large open entertaining area, new 2nd floor deck with peak of the ocean (great for hanging out at nightime), 2 large bedrooms (one bedroom w/queen, another a king (or 2 twins) and 2 new full baths. There is a nice level yard with off street parking for at least 3 cars, we just added cac on the first floor 06, 2nd floor has nice ac units (one in each room). We added in 2011: new inside furniture inside and out, renovated the large bath on first floor, repainted,new flooring, lots of new outside furniture, replaced front porch doors.

I have rented the 2nd floor of this property for a number of years now and always have a great vacation. The property is always in good condition and very clean. Upstaris, there are 2 adult-size bedrooms with storage and a closet for your stuff (pretty unusual at the beach, right?) The unit has a comfortable size living area and a nice size deck with a great view of the area during the day -and the stars at night. The kitchen is small, but stocked with the necessary appliances you need to cook-up a quick dinner. I've rented this property for a number of years and will continue to be a return-renter and because I really like the unit its proximity to the beach. The owner is a conscientious and reliable. VERY close to ocean! Also, I have looked into expanding into the downstairs unit as well and can confirm this unit is very nice as well. The living area and kitchen are huge, and the patio is screened in... The outside shower, grill and internet service are very nice amenities for both units.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Wonderful to have the same tenant for 8 years! Unit is just one block to the beach and has a wonderful deck with peek of ocean. This unit can be rented by itself or with the downstairs for larger families. The living, dining and kitchen are open to each other and have a vaulted ceiling making it feel spacious.

I would first, like to thank Sally, for walking us through the whole rental process. She was ideal to work with. The house was so quaint and charming, and was in a great location. Would definitely recommend renting this home! Hope to return sometime soon!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
