The Chalet is located on a 100 acre private lake in Northern Michigan. The house is modern and fully equipped with satellite dish, 2 tv's and VCR's, Nintendo games, POOL TABLE, laundry, BBQ grill, Refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, microwave, and more. Wildlife abounds from the deck including bald eagles, black squirrels, pileated woodpeckers, beavers and blue herons.
We have a quiet lake for relaxing or meeting with family and friends, but it is also an all-sports lake for jet-skiing and pontoon boats. We also have a heated pool with bath house, a party pavilion, and playground area as part of our association. We can accommodate up to 18 people. Owner Description
Year Purchased: 1998
Dale and Brenda Schug have been married since 1969. Dale served the US Navy as a Seabee in Vietnam, and later started a concrete construction business. We bought the Schug Chalet and later the Eagles Nest as a retirement activity for us. We are so used to working 24/7 that we knew we wouldn't be able to sit around. We hpe to retire in the next few years and spend more time managing and improving the lake experience.
Why the Owner Chose Gaylord
We bought our vacation rentals in this location because of it's central location. You can get to many fun locations within an hour's time, or just relax and enjoy the sun and fun. Lake Arrowhead is also a safe secure enviornment for kids to play.
The Unique Benefits of this Chalet and House
We especially enjoy watching the wildlife and particularly the bald eagles when they are at play on our lake. We also like to take pontoon boat rides, sit in front of a bonfire, play horse shoes and visit with friends.

Great family reunion opportunity! I have just purchased the 2 bedroom next door for grandparents or aunts & uncles who need a little more quiet.
