Near the town of Cortona, "Monastero S.Silvestro" is a sprawling farmhouse with marvelous panoramic views of the Chiana Valley and the distant mountains of Umbria. The main farmhouse has been divided into 5 apartments, each decorated in traditional Tuscan style.The property sleeps 28 shared in FIVE apartments all very spacious and very comfortable.In "Monastero S.Silvestro" there is a banquet-hall with floor on wood excellent for banquets for meeting or gym, with dressing-room showers and a kitchen contiguous with fire place.The property lies in extensive gardens, and has a large, well-kept swimming pool. Furnished with tables and chairs, and equipped with a barbecue and oven.Monastero S.Silvestro is near Florence, Rome, Assisi, Perugia, Siena, Urbino, Trasimen Lake, Chianti-shire and other typicals italians towns. Many cultural manifestation take place in Cortona, for example the Show of National Market of Ancient Piece of Forniture(last week of august-first week of september), the Tournament of Archidado(may), the National Fair of worked copper(april),theatrical manifestation and concert all over the year that in the summer take place in the garden and many more activities. We remember also the summer courses of scientific specialization at the Normal Superior School of Pisa in the Palazzone(princely villa of XVI° century).

Apartment Tuscany: 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom w. shower, sleeps 4+2 Description: Apartment Tuscany is situated on the 2nd. floor with stunning views over the Val di Chiana. It has a kitchen /sitting room (1 double sota bed) and a stone fireplace. There is one double bedroom, another bedroom with two single beds.
Apartment Rosellae: 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sleeps 6+2 Description: has a kitchen/living room (1 sofa bed), a double bedroom with private bathroom w. shower, another double bedroom and one with 2 single beds. There is another bathroom with bathtub.
Apartment Corito: 1 double bedroom, 1 bathroom w. tub, sleeps 2+2 Description: Apartment Corito has a kitchen/living room with original unptastered stone watt and an antique stone fireplace (+ double sofa bed) .
Apartment Fesulae: 1 double bedroom, 1 bathroom w. tub, sleeps 2+3 Description: has one double bedroom, kitchen / living room (3 sofa bed) and a stone fireplace and original unptastered stone watt. Direct acess to the covered terrace (Loggia).
Apartment Florentia :Specifically designed and furnished for disabled and the elderly, 2 bedrooms, 1 bath with shower , one living area with kitchen corner (sleeps 4+1) At ground level this apartment has an independent entrance from the garden, it was originally the monastery's wine cellar with all its original arches and beams. Although it is ideal and practical for elderly and disabled it had no major architectural changes done, keeping its original charm. The two large bedrooms and the living area where eventually another bed can be added are comfortable and cured.
