We vacationed at Hutchinson Island 20 years ago and never wanted to leave, so we bought our future retirement home here. Now we want to share the peace and fun with our renters. From Sunrise on the balcony overlooking the ocean and the pool, to Sunset overlooking the resort on the back patio, and all nearby activities in between, yours will be a dream vacation.
Our luxury penthouse condo on the Marriott Hutchinson Island Golf and Tennis Resort will enchant you. Fishing, boating, golf, tennis and nature's delights are all abundant. As Ocean Club members' guests you will have full access to all the resort facilities overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the heated pool. Two private balconies on the end corner of this 4th floor retreat provide a panoramic vista of the ocean, Indian River, and the tennis courts. Reduced greens fees and free tennis court rentals are included.
Condo is adjacent to Marriott beachfront hotel, where another heated pool, a huge hut tub, and a Tiki bar are located. Beach towels, umbrellas, and lounge chairs are available for rent. All water sports ( fishing, surfing, jetski, kayak, canoes and boating) are available. Indian River Planation is the center of a Fisherman's Paradise. Marina rental is available for your boat, as well as deepsea fishing charters, river and Intercoastal cruising, sailing on the ocean and rivers, and even direct canal access to famous Lake Okechobee. Some even surf fish from the beach in front of the condo.
Although a restful retreat, the resort is only one hour from Palm Beach and Worth Avenue, and a 45 minute drive from West Palm Beach International Airport. Orlando and Cape Canaveral's Kennedy Space Center are about two hours away. Orlando's Disney World, SeaWorld, famous Outlet Malls and vast amusement parks are accessible, with your tranquil ocean resort awaiting your homecoming.

Have stayed at this location for many years and was pleasantly surprised at the renovations. The pool was recently resurfaced and two gas grills added to the area. The beach is beautiful; private and quiet as well as pet friendly. Stuart is a wonderful town to visit and we highly recommend this condo; it's immaculate and the view is lovely. My family had the best time, the condo is beautiful, well equipped and spacious. The views are awesome. Having all the resort amenities is a great added feature. Pools, tiki bar, restaurant and staff were outstanding. Lots of fun stuff to do locally. We are already planning a return trip next year.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

My family and I have been visiting Indian River Plantation (IRP) for many years. We have rented various properties on IRP. This condo is very well maintained and nicely furnished. The view of the ocean is spectacular. The photos and description are accurate. The owners are very helpful and were happy to answer all of our questions and requests. The building, pool and grounds are well maintained and very secure. We would recommend this property to anyone, family or friend of any age. The local area offers many things to all ages, beach, pool, golf, shopping and great restaurants. If you have never been to Indian River Plantation you should check it out from this condo.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

The furniture in the condo was brand new & in prisitne condition. The bed was so comfortable, I wish I could have taken it home with me! There are 2 swimming pools downstairs to choose from. The condo's private pool is quiet, while the shared hotel pool is social with music & a tiki bar/restaurant. The hotel's poolside staff are polite & very helpful. The beach is gorgeous! You can rent beach chairs & an umbrella, get complementary towels, and order food & drinks while not leaving the ocean if you so choose. There are two local restaurants worth mentioning. Carmella's pizza & wine bar in Stuart has the best pizza, as evidenced by the packed house every night. Jan's restaurant in Jensen Beach has amazing breakfasts & lunches that my family is still talking about. I don't think Jan's is open for dinner, though. Overall, it was a great vacation destination & I would return there in a heartbeat!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this condo in Hutchinson Island. The condo is situated on the top left corner of the building, which provides beautiful panoramic views of the sea from all points. The breezes were terrific out on the deck and I enjoyed reading a book there one morning while having coffee. The pool was private, which was nice with young children. We grilled dinner there one night and dined poolside while the kids ran around (and ate a little too). ;-) The beach access was a quick walk over a small boardwalk, which was another bonus with young children and a armful of beach supplies and toys, and of course, a few cold adult beverages. :-) We also enjoyed the nearby pool situated to the left of the building that offered casual meals and beverages for purchase. In contrast to the quiet, private pool I mentioned earlier, that pool had a more energetic feel...and depending on your mood, you might opt to visit that area for a couple hours as well. (However, it's always nice to have options!) We shared the unit with another small family and we were not lacking elbow room at all. The unit is very spacious and open...another bonus for families with young children who do not often remain still unless sitting in front of the tube. We only used the tv a minimal amount, but I did notice they had surround sound and a flatscreen. So, never fear if it rains one day bc it would be a great place to watch a movie. The best part about our trip was reconnecting with friends we haven't been able to see as often as we'd like. Everyone got along harmoniously, and left rested and in good spirits...albeit a bit sad to leave the beautiful beach. In short, we highly recommend this condo. And we look forward to returning again soon...Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Our son is an Attorney and our daughter is a Nurse Practitioner, and married with 3 beautiful children. All of us enjoy vacationing on Indian River Plantation since 1983. We love the sand, surf, pools and nature, and wish that you could visit our 'home away from home', where we have a restful haven close to all the amenities.
Why Spoonbill Resort:
We loved it the first time we visited in 1983 and bought a timeshare here. When we looked for a retirement home, it was the natural choice. Its central Florida Atlantic Coast location is faraway from the noise, but close to many attractions.

We enjoy watching the ocean and hearing the gentle surf. Even an afternoon shower is peaceful and enjoyable from our balcony. The quaint town of Stuart has several first class restaurants, boutiques and antique stores. Nearby Jensen Beach is campy and crafty, with more restaurants. Water sports,boating, biking and nature's delights abound. You will love this undiscovered paradise.
