  My husband, daughter, her friend, and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Queen Anne. This house is very nice and the owners have added many special touches to make it feel welcoming...there were even several vases of fresh greenery and flowers. The property was clean and very well maintained. I always received prompt and courteous replies to e-mails and questions before arrival and the deposit was returned without even having to request it. We were there visiting our son and his family who live in Queen Anne. The area is beautiful and things were very conveniently located. If any one travels often to Seattle, you know how difficult it can be to find parking...but we had no trouble and could always park right in front of the house. I totally recommend this property. We will definitely want to stay there again.

  My husband, teenage daughter and I spent a week in this lovely house over New Year's. The listing description and the photos are completely accurate - I'd even say they don't fully reveal how very charming this house is. The decor is pleasant, soothing and tasteful. The amenities are all one could want. Great kitchen! Comfortable beds and bedding. Very clean....sunny during the day, cozy at night. So close to great neighborhood shops. Enjoyed walking every morning up to Kerry Park with an amazing view of downtown Seattle, the entire port, Mt. Rainier in the distance and the Olympic Range too. Loved how close it was to downtown. The owners are so nice and very helpful and easy to work with. I would highly recommend this property, and hope we can return next year.

  We spent Thanksgiving at the Blaine Street House - my wife, myself, our adult son and his wife - while visiting our other son's family in the Queen Anne neighborhood. Everything worked great, and the home is beautifully decorated and well maintained. We'll be back on our next visit to Seattle!

  We were in Seattle for vacation with our friends. There were 4 of us so the Blaine House fit the bill perfectly! John & Candace's home is beautiful. It looks just like the pictures if not even better. The kitchen was well supplied with cooking utensils if you want to cook.We used the grill one night to cook some steaks & it worked great! Otherwise we didn't cook much because we wanted to enjoy the great restaurants in Seattle! John & Candace gave us some great advice on dining & sightseeing. Candace even washed my shirt that I spilled coffee all over! Stay here when you visit seattle, it is a gem.

  Charming home in Queen Anne. Very nicely decorated and comfortable. Nice, bright, modern kitchen. Bedrooms are very comfortable and clean with beautiful bathrooms. Perfect for a family. Very close to downtown Seattle, Ballard, Lake Union. Highly recommend driving to Alki Beach and Lincoln Park in West Seattle and the Dale Chihuly exhibit at the Seattle Center. Can't go wrong with this charmer !

  My friends and I had a great time staying at this house. The location was perfect. Easy access to Seattle Center, groceries, and downtown. Street parking was readily available. House was bright and very clean. Neighborhood was friendly and extremely quiet. We would definitely want to stay at this house again when in Seattle.

  This house is every bit as charming in person as in the pictures you see. We had a really great time in Seattle staying at this home. We had my daughter and her boyfriend over for dinner the accomodations are wonderful. Plenty of room for the five people who stayed at the home and the two guests that came for dinner. Such a quiet and lovley neighborhood. I loved being so close the the water that in the morning you can hear the fog horns on the boats coming into port. The view just a couple of blocks is amazing. We didn't want to leave....... but for certain we will be back !!!!!! Candace and John thank you again for the lovley home you share with so many lucky people.

  My husband and I, our son and family w/ 11-yr old and toddler enjoyed our stay very much. We were in Seattle for another son's wedding in Queen Anne and some of us walked to the garden spot for the ceremony. The hills are great for toning the legs! The house is lovely and just as pictured; the owners made a porta-crib, stroller and car seat available; easy walk to the bus stop; lovely neighborhood; enjoyed the patio and the front porch; no negatives at all. John and Candace were most hospitable and helpful. We would definitely recommend renting the Blaine Street House.

  We stayed at the house for 4 days and it was the best. I didn't want to come back home. This house is beautiful and spacious. The owners are very kind and really nice to talk to. The house is conveniently located. Coffee shop around the corner in a quiet neighborhood. If. You go two blocks in the opposite direction you can have a clear view of the water. We watched the cruise ships pull in, very cool. Oh, forgot to mention the kitchen is to die for. The beds were very comfortable along with the pillows. We're going to check on getting the same pillows at home because they were the bomb. One last little item, they had the best soap for the shower. Sounds goofy but when you shower with. The lavender soap along with that huge shower with awesome shower head, it was like a spa for me. Anyone renting this house will not be disappointed. The only disappointing part was leaving! Thanks John and Candace!

Rental Agreement The house is located at 1018 W. Blaine Street, Seattle, WA 98119 Phone: 206-940-4519 Fax: 866-902-0575 Email: john.rogers@ziprealty.com This lease is entered into between John & Candace Rogers, lessors, and, you the leasee. A refundable security deposit of $500 is required and paid through Pay Pal, credit card or personal check 1. CHECK-IN TIME IS AFTER 4 PM, Pacific Time, and CHECK_OUT IS 11 am Pacific Time. No early check-ins. 2. This is a NON SMOKING house. 3. If children are in the rental party, the leasees accept the responsibility of keeping them safe on the property. 4. DAMAGE/RESERVATION DEPOSIT--A damage/reservation deposit of $500 is required. The deposit automatically converts to a security/damage deposit upon arrival. The deposit is NOT applied to rent, however it is fully refundable within 14 days of departure, provided the following provisions are met. a. No damage is done to the house or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear. b. No charges are incurred due to contraband, pets or collection of rents or services rendered during the stay. c. All debris, rubbish and discards are placed in refuse containers outside, and soiled dishes are placed in the dishwasher and cleaned. d. All keys are left in secure, agreed upon location and house is locked. e. All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure. f. No linens are lost or damaged g. No early check-in or late check-out. 5. PAYMENT: One half (1/2) of Payment must be received via PayPal, personal check or cashiers check no less than 60 days prior to arrival. Balance to be paid no less than 30 days prior to arrival. Or, the amount can be paid in full as the initial payment. 6. CANCELLATIONS: A (30) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than (30) days prior to the arrival date are subject to a 5% Cancellation Fee or $50 whichever is greater. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, or that are made within 30 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment and damage/reservation deposit. You may choose to purchase travel insurance separately. See item number twelve of this contract. 7. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY--The maximum number of guests is limited to 6 (six) persons. MAID SERVICE--While linens and bath towels are included in the house, daily maid service is not included. Maid service, if desired, can be arranged in advance. 9. WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS--Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance. 11. PARKING--Street parking 12. FIREPLACE--The fireplace is gas burning. Please make sure it is turned off before leaving the home or going to bed. 13. TRAVEL INSURANCE--We highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance. LIABILITY-- The owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise. 16. ACCESS-- Guest shall allow Homeowner access to the property for purposes of repair and inspection. Homeowner shall exercise this right of access in a reasonable manner. 17. DISCLOSURE-- John and Candace Rogers (owners) live in an apartment with separate entrance and cooking, etc. in the basement of the house, unless we are traveling, and have an office in the detached garage behind the house. 18. LAUNDRY-- The washer and dryer are located in our basement apartment. If you need some clothes cleaned, we can find a mutually convenient time for your access. I agree that all rental money is non-refundable per cancellation policy above. I have read my rights to purchase travel insurance.
