The cottage is best suited for two guests. King-sized bed, but can be split into two twins. Bathroom has a shower facility, no bathtub. The 3-bedroom 3-bath main house is available occasionally throughout the year; please email for prices and availability.
The warwick studio cottage is located on a lovely landscaped and very private estate close to the harbour road. The spacious cottage is freshly re-modeled with high-end furnishings and exceptional amenities, including full-sized kitchen appliances (like a stove top and high-tech drawer microwave. The garden entrance overlooks lawns, the recently repaved tennis court, and the serene pool beyond, surrounded with trees and flowering shrubs. The owners cherish their gardens: the gazebo draped in flowers provides a cool spot to rest with a book. When a plunge in the sea is in order, you proceed down the driveway to a gated access to the dock, ideal for snorkeling. Please note that the dock is at the end of a series of steps. The homeowners offer kayaks for your pleasure as well: be sure to secure them properly afterwards so they don’t float away on with the tide. A barbecue is available as well private telephone service but please note: bermuda calling cards are required for long distance calls made from the island.
It is important to conserve electricity and water consumption in bermuda- this is how this homeowner keeps her rates low for your benefit. Please turn off air conditioning when you depart from the cottage daily and be sure to lock your accommodations securely. Do not leave the ac on with windows open- please.

Grocery shopping and a bus service are nearby on tamarind vale and middle road. The bus takes you over to the fabled south shore beaches in less than 10 minutes. The service along middle road runs every 15 minutes. The #8 line travels from one end of the island to the other, with changes to other lines made at the central depot in hamilton. The #8 barnes corner bus goes as far as barnes corner in southampton and then waits for 5 minutes before changing number to #7 and proceeding along south road past the major beaches, making a circular route. Buses travel until approx 11.45 pm, leaving hamilton (earlier on sundays). A cab fare from hamilton is about $20.00us. However there’s no need to go to hamilton in the evening for fine dining: there are many excellent restaurants near the cottage including blu, four ways inn, henry viii pub, the reefs, and the waterlot inn, to name but a few. The homeowner will provide you with up-to-date recommendations.
The warwick post office on middle road carries bus-ferry tickets and passes for sale, or you can collect them by having the cab driver stop off on the way in from the airport. For the more adventurous, moped rentals can be easily arranged.
Nearby beaches include the magnificent elbow beach, warwick long bay, astwood cove, horseshoe bay, and church bay, all on the beautiful southern shore coastline. Chaplin’s bay is the last word in romantic coves, private, with deep pink sand strewn with shells and can be found tucked in between horseshoe and warwick long bay, with its companion beaches, stonehole bay and jobson’s cove. These are the most magical pink sand coves on the island…bring a towel, a book, a pillow and a hat and a deluxe picnic because you won’t be able to tear yourselves away…. We request that you bring your own beach towels with you: towels for the bathroom is supplied, as are all other linens but no house linens can be taken to the shore, please. Marks and stains ruin them for household use thereafter.
We encourage you to bring along a box of frozen or prepared treats for your larder. Do not try to import fresh fruits or vegetables though, as they are confiscated at the airport for insect control reasons. Coffee, teas, biscuits, frozen meat or fish, sweets and other delectables as part of your luggage will save you time as well as trouble upon arrival. Have your taxi driver stop off on the way home for perishables or consider ordering foodstuffs to be delivered via the internet.
