  The house was very colorful and fun. Great having the 2 bedrooms downstairs for the kids who wanted to stay up late and a separate area upstairs for us. Plenty of deck/sun room space. Had breakfast on the deck every morning. Great to be able to walk across street to the beach. Several fun restaurants close by and not to far a drive to Port St. Joe or Apalachicola. Would definitely come back here.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

  The quirkiness was perfect for these quirky gals! We loved the location! Can recommend Fish house,Killers,Boss Oyster in Apalachicola, Sunset Grill and Dockside the marina in St Joe. The drive to St George was great. Perfect weather! We can't wait to come back soon!

  My family and I enjoyed staying at this house! The house was decorated beautifully and the owners couldn't have been nicer. The welcome package we received prior to our visit was full of detials of the area and lots of goodies for the kids! Can't wait to come back!

  We loved Antzie Pantzie. We have 3 boys and they just walked around in amazement at the decor...they found something new each day. They rode bikes to the basketball courts each day and loved being right across from the beach where everyone could just come and go at their convenience. We picked up fresh seafood every night and grilled out on the deck. We will definitely be back!!

  Antzie Pantzie is a pretty nice place. The decorations are a little kooky, but I guess that's what people expect for a beach house. The house is located right in the middle of Mexico Beach, with public beach access right across the road. My sister- and brother-in-law actually stayed here for a long term rental a few years ago, so we were well familiar with the place and owners. We had a nice experience, for the most part, until we did not receive our full damage deposit back. The cleaning company apparently decided that the place was too dirty for them, and we were charged for extra cleaning. It wasn't that much money, and wasn't really a big deal, except for when we read what the cleaning charges were for. Apparently they had to spend 'extra time' cleaning up sand in the house, crumbs on the countertops, shampoo spots in the bath, and a bag of trash that we apparently forgot to remove from a bathroom trash can! Wow. Really? The cleaning crew had to clean up sand at a beach house? How surprising! And they also had to wipe down the kitchen and bathtubs? I sure would hope so...it really makes me wonder how dirty the place was when we came if these routine cleaning items are considered 'extra'. Further, the detailed check-out list provided by the owner describes general tidying, dealing with lights and keys, taking out trash, etc. Renters are not supposedly required to do a thorough cleaning job, because we are charged a cleaning fee. If renters are supposed to do the cleaning service's job, they should be told that and not charged the fee. Our family spent a few hours the morning of checkout cleaning and checking over the list multiple times. It was getting to the point that I thought our cleaning effort was getting excessive, considering that a 'cleaning' crew was supposed to be coming through. In all fairness, the owners ended up refunding our full damage deposit, after a bunch of back-and-forth. But, if I were the owner of a vacation home, and I received a report of 'extra' cleaning services that were needed, and that list was utterly ridiculous (!!), then I would question my relationship with the cleaning service rather than attempting to pass on charges to my renters. Especially renters with whom I had a nice rental relationship with previously. So, all prospective renters out there, take my review with all the positive reviews on this site and make your own decision. Atleast, be careful when checking out that you don't leave any sand in the beachhouse.

  This beach house is absolutely perfect! The pictures don't do it justice. We love the quirky decorations. It just puts you in a great mood as soon as you walk in the door. We loved sitting on the upstairs deck and listening to the ocean while watching the sunset. This is the best place to stay in this family oriented little town. Best vacation ever!!

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

  We loved everything about Antzie Pantzie!! The owners are absolutely fabulous and were very, very helpful in every step of the way. It was our first time visiting Mexico Beach and the owners provided us with lots of information for places to eat, things to do, see, grocery stores, etc. Loved it! We had the best vacation ever in Mexico Beach and Antzie Pantzie was a major factor. The house is decorated super cute and puts you in a great mood as soon as you walk in the door. Absolutely love this house and couldn't stop talking about it when we returned from our vacation. I can't wait to stay there again!
