I want thank Terri for allowing us to rent the Kihei Akahi condo for our honeymoon/vacation.She was responsive to all our questions and comments. She provided excellent resources for first-timers to Maui. The condo was in superb condition and in a great location with excellent views of the ocean. The beach is as close as crossing the street. There were plenty of restaurants and places to shop that were all a short walk away.I would highly recommend this condo to anyone thinking about Maui!

Thanks again for having us as your guests.We have stayed at other places and had some unpleasent surprises believe me there are no surprises here.This unit is very clean and well maintained with very nice island decor.The location is excellent because it could be raining all over the island but not in sunny Kihei .We enjoyed the sunsets and the glistening moolight silhouettes under the stars from the fifth floor.We found it very relaxing a stressreliever if you will and recommend this unit and Maui in general to anyone who would just like to get away from it all.We tried the stone oven Pizza ,a couple surfers run it they set up at various locations on the island best we ever tasted.Enjoyed the Doobie Brothers outdour concert at Maui community arts center.We hope to return soon and are looking forward to longer retirement stays in the future .Just a note as a traveller this is one place you can come to without worrying about various diseases such as Malaria we did not see one mosquito.

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We want to thank you for the use of your beautiful condo. The view was spectacular and we even got to see some whales while we were there in late April. The two block walk to the beach was awesome and we weren't far away from food and shopping either. Thanks again.

Just a quick note to say how much we enjoyed our vacation at your condo. Over the years, we have likely stayed in a dozen different spots in Maui. The view was amazing, the location to the beach and restaurants was incredible, the price was great, and the in kitchen amenities were great. Thank you so much for letting us stay at you condo, we enjoyed breakfast on the lanai and just had a great time. Hope to come again sometime in the future, if we can muscle through another 8 hour plane ride.

Lovely spot, thank you Terri for accommodating our stay over the Christmas holidays. The view from the lanai is really first-class; we enjoyed our morning coffee while watching the whales and never missed a sunset - you can see it all! All of the comforts of home,the king bed and good quality linens were very nice. The condo is very well appointed with everything you need while in Maui. Nice modern decor and well-kept, clean. We hope to return again next year as it was a beautiful winter retreat!

Over the last 15 years, we have stayed in many units at the Kihei Akahi. This one is by far the nicest we have seen. It has been very tastefully redecorated and its location on the 5th floor of the D building is ideal. The owners were always responsive and easy to work with, and we enthusiastically recommend this property.

We are home from a great trip. The stay in your condo was wonderful. You have a wonderful Hawaiin home and we thank you so much our stay. Your condo was voted the nicest of all the rented condos, by our friends. The view was my most favorite. Coffee on the lanai at 6:00 am was wonderful, and the sunset was gorgeous. We just returned from 6 days in "paradise" and a great part of it was our stay at Terri's condo. Great views (we saw whales!!), great location (100 yards from Kam II and some great dining) so no parking hassles; very, very clean complex, with on site security, but best of all, her place is simply great! Very nice furniture, modern kitchen and bathroom and tiling throughout (no smelly carpets!) and as another vacationer had commented, very,very clean!! We will return and Terri, thanks again for providing us such a great place to stay!!

Hi there Terri, just wanted to thank you again for opening your home in Maui to us. We had a wonderful time. We are already looking forward to our next trip back there. There wasn't anything about Maui that we didn't like. We have no desire or need to go back to Mexico ever again! It was wonderful to have everything we needed already thought of for us. The beach towels, mats, chairs, cooler, umbrella, snorkelling gear and everything in the condo to make our stay wonderful. You really have thought of everything for your guests. You have a beautiful home and we felt very comfortable and welcome the minute we arrived. I have already recommended your unit to 2 sets of friends back home. Thanks again for being so flexible and accommodating to our needs, especially when we were traveling with an infant. We will be in touch to book our next visit, hopefully next fall. This condo is graciously and tastfully decorated as well as being very comfortable. The King Size bed is a PLUS! All the necessities are provided for a worry free stay. The grounds and facilities of Kihei Akahi are well maintained and of course the location is ideal with nearby shops, groceries and resturants. You get your money's worth here. Right across from Kamaole Beach II - great for swimming and snorkeling. You can't go wrong with this condo.

This condo was a perfect honeymoon retreat in every respect. The location was wonderful. We liked the convenience of being located right across from the beach. We were also close enough to the shops and restaurants, but not in the middle of everything. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. By far the most fabulous unit of the 5 we have stayed in here! Wonderful layout improving the original kitchen design by a mile! Stayed in to eat at least half the time, because it was easy with a fully equiped kitchen!No more running out to buy a cheese grater at the last minute:)Thanks to the owners for thinking of those things, and providing them. HUGE king size bed was luxurious as was the gigantic shower. We were so spoiled staying here!!!!I wish home were like this. We will definitely stay in this unit again. Soon I hope

This vacation was the best ever! Your condo was so awesome! We enjoyed to the fullest all the new amenities, the privacy and the convenient location. We never want to leave! The extra cost was well worth it and more. We certainly will return next year.
