East Village condo description
Luxury Condo - Unbeatable San Diego Location, Great Price And Free Parking
Our luxury one bedroom condo sleeps 1 or 2 guests and is located directly across the street from Petco Park. It includes an indoor parking space in a secure garage and a roof deck overlooking all the action on the ball diamond.
Walk 3 short blocks west to the heart of the historic Gaslamp District for dining and nightlife. Walk a few minutes more to the convention center or downtown's Horton Plaza shopping mall anchored by Nordstrom's and Macy's. Walk 2 blocks east past the brand new, dramatically designed Thomas Jefferson School of Law to the trolley stop. Hop on the trolley to visit Seaport Village, the Santa Fe Amtrak Depot, USS Midway, Maritime Museum, Embarcadero, Little Italy, Qualcomm Stadium, and even Mexico. Or catch the bus around the corner to Coronado Island, Balboa Park, the San Diego Zoo and the airport.
Our building roof deck from which you can watch all the action of Padre games, (well, 90% of the field is visible), is equipped with a gas barbeque grill and tables and chairs for your use. From the roof deck you can also see the Coronado Bridge and Island, and the distant mountains. Also on the deck level are the community room with plenty of seating and a jumbo TV, and the fitness center.
The condo itself was professionally redecorated with all new furniture and artwork when we purchased it in March of 2011. The kitchen features granite countertops, cherry cabinets, stainless steel appliances, coffee maker, toaster oven and all necessary pots, pans, dishes and glassware. The livingroom and dining area are decorated in sleek leather, chrome and glass and several large scale pieces of original art. For your entertainment there is a 37 inch Vizio HD TV with expanded cable channels and HBO, SHO and DVR, broadband internet and WIFI.
The bedroom has a king size bed that will separate into 2 twin beds if necessary, a large closet, linen cabinet, and a wall of windows peeking at the brand new dramatically designed city library and beyond.
The tiled bath has a tub featuring brand new Kohler glass doors and a mounted adjustable hand held shower. There is a granite topped vanity. The condo is equipped with a washer and dryer and additional storage wardrobe.
Finally, the covered balcony off the livingroom has plenty of room for 4 to 6 people and looks out over the amazing San Diego skyline.
We know our San Diego home will make you feel right at home.

Location was great. Owners are wonderful. Condo was comfortable
Location was great. Owners are wonderful. Condo was comfortable
Stayed here for a month in April and the place exceeded my expectations. I loved living in this part of San Diego, especially during the baseball season. Although the owners were out of country, it felt like they were around the corner. Communication was great throughout the whole process. Emails were answered promptly and they provided all information required to make moving in and moving out very easy. The condo is wonderful with very nice furnishings. The couch is particularly comfortable. The kitchen has everything you will need to cook any meal while visiting but you probable will be going out for dinner since you are located in one of the best eating towns in the nation. The bed slept comfortably. Bathroom was adequately appointed and the shower has great water pressure and a seemingly endless supply of hot water. I never turned on the AC or Heat so I am not sure how they worked. The cross breeze with the windows opened was perfect for me. Parking in the garage was very easy, safe, and secure. Elevators in the building are especially fast and I never recall waiting for an elevator (even when folks were moving in). I met several of the neighbors in the lobby and up on the roof top terrace and everyone was so nice and polite. My gym is across the street, but I did use the fitness equipment on the 14th floor and the equipment was adequate and in good operating condition. You will be outside mostly because of the great weather in San Deigo. I would absolutely stay in this condo again while visiting San Diego. It has everything I need and you absolutely cannot beat the location.

Owner response: Thank you for taking the time to share your kind words. You have done a great job of pointing out the benefits of our condo and it's location. We hope to meet you down the road as you've been wonderful to work with (albeit, with an ocean between us). All the best as you return home.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jim's and Robin's condo. If you like baseball, you can see homegames from the roof -- perfect view. Also has nice fitness room and grill. The condo was very well appointed and Jim's service went beyond the call of duty. What a terrific guy to deal with ----- We know that he has just recently been renting out this condo. Have NO hesitation at all --- we give it the highest recommendation after staying for 2 months!
