Great house for a multi-family vacation!

Magnolia Hill is perfectly located in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to the beach. We stayed a week in this house with 5 families. The second floor kitchen (2 fridges, 2 tables for eating) and open living area is large and roomy; we spent evenings as a group playing games and having fun; our kids played cards every morning on the table in the screened-in porch. We were very comfortable in this house; it has all the amentities of home. Like others, we took advantage of the beach chairs and toys - there is a closet full of options! Our kids were in the pool constantly (we had it heated) but could walk back and forth to the beach without worry. The beauty of the beach goes without saying - you are not in a crowded area and the water is crystal clear. The house is clean and comfortable with a great owner! We are already looking forward to a return visit! We were addicted to the home-made french fries at Johnny McTighes Irish Pub on 30A - make sure to try them! We were also surprised to find the best t-shirts at the liquor store located next door to the pub. If you are looking for a house in a quiet area but close to everything, you just found it.

Perfect Beach House!

This was our first year at Magnolia Hill in Gulf Trace but it won’t be the last. The house was just perfect for our family!! The location is wonderful and the house has all the amenities you could possibly need including a game closet. The screened in porch is fabulous for relaxing after the short walk back from the beach. The owners were terrific to work with and extremely helpful in their recommendations. We will certainly be back!!

This was our first vacation with all of my husbands children and grandchildren. This house was just wonderful for all of us, especially the grandchildren. There was enough room for them to have their own rooms with TV's. All of the adults loved the screened sunroom. We could sit out there at night hear the ocean and enjoy talking. Jennifer gave us lots of local information and that was a wonderful help. We stayed the first week in October and the weather couldn't have been better. The only complaint I have iwould be that the week wasn't longer, it ended way too soon.

This was our second year back to Gulf Trace - and this was the PERFECT house for our family! Excellent location to the beach and a great house! The owners were superb to work with. We plan to come back every year!!

Week at the beach

We are a family of 18 people ranging in age from 9 to one who turned 77 during our stay. The house is perfect for us and makes for a wonderful vacation at the beach. The kids love the pool and the closet full of pool and beach toys. They also enjoyed the games outside and the game closet. The adults sat on the screened porch with the view of the gulf and the gulf breezes. Very relaxing for all. Acess to the beach is close by and the beach was never crowded. I enjoyed having chairs and an umbrella set up each morning on the beach and the price for a week was not bad. The house is very well stocked with dishes and cooking supplies. I enjoyed my dealings with the owners and they made things very easy for me. All in all it is a perfect house for a large family with children of all ages. We enjoyed dining at the local restaurants and visiting shops nearby. The property was clean and well maintained.. .

Grayton Beach Vacation 2010

Our family really enjoyed our week at this residence. There was plenty of room for everyone to have all the privacy and quiet time everyone wanted. All of the baby equipment at the house was a great help to us as we had two babies under three with us. The beach was beautiful each day and only got rain in the evenings after we came in. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a large, nicely and fully equipped house. It has it all.

We had 4 families with 2 kids each under the age of 9 and one mother-in-law to make 17 total. The kids loved the bunk room, TVs, pool, shuffleboard, screened in porches, perfect beach and super bike trail. The adults loved the spacious house with fantastic gathering space including kitchen, 2 dining tables and couch/TV area. Among the many great features, the screened in porch and 2 other porches allowed for quiet time too. The pool was perfect and the pool closet had everything a family would need at the beach. The gas grill and kitchen were ideal for preparing a feast for 17 each night. The kitchen had 2 refrigerators for all our goodies. We certainly enjoyed the convenience of the new Publix in Watercolor and Shrimpers for fresh seafood on 98. The owners were very helpful and responsive. The beach was of course perfect after a quick walk. The water was the classic color, the sand was sugar white and everyone enjoyed every minute. This was surely a top ten vacation for our families.

We stayed at Magnolia Hill the first week of August with 4 other families. There were 9 adults and 8 kids. The open area with the kitchen, tables and sofas was a perfect place to gather for all meals. The kids sat at one table, adults at another. The 2 refrigerators were perfect as we shopped for the week when we got there and had to very little other shopping except for FRESH SEAFOOD at Shrimpers on 98! The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to make great meals. The gas grill was perfect for the guys to grill our meals. The kids loved the bunk beds, shuffle board and pool. The adults loved the spacious rooms with ceiling fans, private bathrooms, large screened-porch with awesome outdoor furniture and a view of the beach flag and ocean. The pool closet has more than you need to have a great time at the beach. Next time we won't lug a thing down! The beach was 300 steps away and it was beautiful! Plenty of room to play catch, fly kites, frisbees, build sand castles or just sit and watch the water (and kids!). The water was crystal clear emerald green and the waves varied from very small to moderate. We rented a kayak this year and had a blast. They deliver to the beach. We all brought bikes down (even though you can rent them) and rode the path on 30-a both east and west and found fun things to do in Seaside and Gulf Place. Our vacation was "Top 10". Thanks Magnolia Hill! The owners were very helpful and easily reached. They provided staff numbers in case of repairs or assistance with the house if needed.

We are seven couples and one single who travel together frequently. We had a blast at Magnolia Hill! The house added to the fun. The Great Room was just great, of course we ate there, but we played cards, played games, chatted, danced, just had a great time being together. The beach was outstanding, the pool was perfect. We are all talking about coming again in the fall. Thanks for sharing your house with us.

Thank you for a great vacation!! The house was great, very roomy and very close to the beach. Kids had a great time at the pool too!! Lots of game playing in the evening, very quiet neighborhood perfect for our family vacation. Would rent from these owners again!!! Seem like very nice folks.

Fabulous!!! Relaxing everything you would need to call home. Quiet neighborhood, plenty of room to get away if needed. Loved the sun porch. Would highly recommend this home to everyone. Bring your bikes there are plenty of trails and a very bike friendy area. Enjoy!

We had a wonderful family fall vacation at Magnolia Hill. Spectacular views of the Gulf, a very comfortable home. There were 12 of us, including 6 children. Everyone had plenty of room. The children really enjoyed the heated pool and playing on the beach. We will be back!
